Compact, worth the money, easy to use, light weight, safer than cables. I Bought the 3000A models for our family midsize passenger cars. Charged them and put them in the vehicles, but who hopes for a dead battery?! Within a month it happened. Pulled out this compact little brick, popped the hood, and attached the cables. Perfect! Started my car. When it was time to return from my destination it succeeded on the first attempt. After two jumps, it still shows 91% charge. Cool thing is you can charge it from your vehicle's USB port while you drive. I have an appointment with BMW to replace the battery, but I am not sweating it. I keep driving with a dead battery because it is so easy to jump. It takes 1-2 minutes. I've driven four times, requiring a jump on each end of the trip (8 jumps). It has worked every time on the first attempt. IT WOULD BE SUPER COOL IF IT WERE ALSO A TRICKLE CHARGER!! No complaint though. I bought it to jump a dead battery and it performs like a champ. I imagine there is logic in the circuitry that prevents a cross connection, so when you start from this device, there is a delay of about one second (or less) then the engine turns. Pros over cables: Two connections versus four (most trouble jumping is due to bad cable connections) No danger cross connecting (I witnessed a battery explode in someone's face years ago) No issue getting a second vehicle in proper position to jump the dead car (like the shoulder of a freeway) No issue FINDING (or waiting for) a second vehicle for help Takes less space - more compact Cons: It must be charged to work (I've jumped 8 times with 100% success, but the device was always charged at least 80% - I do not know at what % it fails). My car constantly draws power even when turned off. All cars do this, but the model I have is particularly bad for it. If it sits for a few days, like a long holiday weekend, it's dead. I had an old jump starter but it eventually stopped holding a charge. I bought this HPBS jumper about a year ago and have used it several times. On my own car and on other people's. It always starts my car on the first try and seems to deliver a lot of power. I've also used it to jump start my lawn mower for the first cut of the season. It holds a charge quite well, as I've gone months without charging it, and it works. It also holds enough power for multiple jumps on a single charge. I always plug the charger in once I use it, but did have to jump my car twice in one day, and the jump starter didn't drop below 80%. Read more

I was not disappointed, I've used this 3 times in the last 2 weeks on different vehicles. This has to be one of my number 1 items that I have always been wanting to purchase, this too is awesome to have in your car Read more

This is a life saver. My husband's car battery is always dead so I bought him this for Christmas. It charges fast and jumps this car battery instantly! Read more

I bought this unit to keep in my small suv just in case of a low battery. I was pretty sure it wouldn’t pack the punch that it claims and I doubt it does. I have jumped off a lawnmower, motorcycle and a compact truck. The truck wasn’t completely dead , but it was able to get it cranked. I think this unit is great for cars with”almost” dead batteries but if you have a V8, I would look for other options. Read more

It works extremely well and it’s a great size to fit in the car without taking up a lot of space. Read more

purchased Nov. of 2024 and charged it up to 100%. Put it in the truck. 1 year later I wanted to start my van that has been siting two years. Pulled it out and checked the meter and was surprised that it still read 100% Hooked it to my van and started cranking. A hard start, but the jump starter did the job. I am very pleased with it. Ordered this in June 2025 because I had no issues with one I bought a few years back and wanted another. I charged it for the recommended time before first use but when I first attached it to my car battery (small Dodge Neon) I visibly watched the percentage of battery drop quickly from 100% and I hadn’t even attempted to start the car. Car struggled to start and finally did but it wasn’t pretty. I left it alone until yesterday. I went to check and see how much charge was left because we had a planned power outage for today and I wanted to use it as a power bank for our small electronics. As soon as I plugged it in to charge it said 100%. 🚩 Unplugged it and it had no power. Left it overnight to charge and this morning it said 100% but still no power when unplugged. This thing is a paperweight. They advertise 24/7 customer support, etc but there is no way to contact them, no warranty, and no return ability. Avoid this junk. Ha I just tested it again to take pictures and it won’t even charge. Read more
