The jumper cables are longer than most brand, this is extremely handy for lots of cases. Because if you have a wider battery, the cheaper brands often cannot support it physically The flashlight is very bright. And beware of the red/blue strobe light. The media could not be loaded. They're just aren't enough stars available here to tell you how impressed, or more accurately, shocked I am as to how well this jump box has worked. I have had it for longer than I should have before trying it out, but I have not had a working vehicle with a dead battery, and on all fairness, my vehicle that did have a dead battery, had been that way for over a year did not seem like a good candidate to try this jump box out on. But with no other options, I hooked this up following the somewhat vague instructions and turn the key. I honestly was beyond surprised! I have seen these used on car lots and by mechanics many times, and I was always impressed that something so little could do such a good job, but it was usually on a car that hadn't been started in a couple of months but still had juice in the battery, not a car that hadn't been started in over a year and a half, and had a battery that was in a very poor state when it was last running. I connected this to the battery and let it set for maybe a minute and a half to two, just to get a little juice in the car's battery, and you can see from the included video, that the interior lights and gauges came to life, and with a twist of the key, the engine turned over like it had a brand new battery from the parts store in it. This can provide so much peace of mind if you are out and find yourself with a week or a dead battery and no one around to lend assistance. I do a fair amount of camping in remote areas, and always in the back of my mind is the prospect of a battery that has run dead by accidentally leaving something on. This will stay in my vehicle permanently, to alleviate that concern! This comes with a power cord to plug into the vehicles lighter so you can fully charge the box once your car is running to make sure this is ready to go before you need it next time. It also has the ability to be charged off a USB cord at home, but don't forget to put it back in your car once it's fully charged! Besides just being a source of power for starting your car, this can be used to recharge or power a phone if you find yourself in need of some extra battery life on a communications device, walkie talkies, anything that can be charged using a USB cord can be powered from this unit. This wonderful device is also an inflator for use in filling a tire should you be out and need to add air to a leaking one, and itn can obviously be used for inflating floating devices at the lake or a basketball when you're at the park. This is a very useful and adaptable tool that above all else, works surprisingly well. I definitely see another one coming in the future to keep in our son's car just for safety sake. I was browsing Amazon and came across this Jump Starter/Air Compressor. Since it was a jump starter and a portable air compressor I ordered it. It's even a power bank. I'm glad I did. I didn't have anything to try to jumpstart so didn't test that function. I have used jump starters like this before and I see no reason why it wouldn't work. It even says it will start 8.0L diesel engines so it has a lot of power. It works in temps from -4F to 140F. I did need a portable air compressor though. It fills tires really well and shuts off automatically when it reaches the set pressure every time I tried it. The pressure units are adjustable for whatever you want to use (i.e. Bar, PSI, KPA, Kg/cm²). The tire connector does get hot while filling tires so (as the manual says) let it cool off for about 10 minutes. The manual says to run it for 15 minutes and then cool for 10 minutes. I think it gets way to hot to let it run for 15 minutes though. I tested it on a small tire pumping it from flat to 30 PSI and it didn't get hot. I did not test the 15/10 minute instructions. It did fill the tires well. You can also inflate toys and sports stuff. It comes with a few adapters for this. I did try to get settings into my pics but my camera and the LCD had some kind of disagreement. The lights work as advertised and they are bright so you can see with it and also be seen. It even does strobe and SOS. It does have an LCD for setting and status. The color is a little different,, but 'Function Before Form'. The price of $40 seems reasonable for this unit. In my opinion everyone should have one of these in their vehicle emergency kit. I would go so far as to say that this unit would be a must in an emergency kit because of it's compactness and usefulness. It will even charge cell phones and such. I'm not sure how long the battery life is but since it's a lithium it should be good and it is rated at 8000 Amp Hours. It came half way charged, it took about an hour to charge it to full. I inflated 4 motorcycle tires, 1 lawnmower tire and 2 (tiny) trailer tires back to back without issues and it was back to half battery capacity. I checked the pressure with a pressure gauge and it was spot on! Impressive. I inflated 4 SUV tires and the hose was so hot I couldn't touch it. It still works fine though, just be mindful of the heat if you have to do big tires. This will be great to keep in your trunk for emergencies. I have not had a chance to use the jump start feature yet... I am kind of skeptical about that feature but I will update this review when I do get a chance just jump a vehicle. Read more
