Just Bare has become my favorite brand for chicken. I did not know I needed this brand in my life, but now I do. I purchase this family pack of wings often. My pack usually has 14-16 pieces. The wings are a good size; arrive fresh with no smell; and the correct color for raw chicken. There is no excess fat on the wings. I like that the drums and flats are already separated. Party! I love that the package is sealed. It prevents salmonella contamination leaks when storing the unopened pack in the fridge. I have to cut the package with a knife to open it. I used to get the preseason frozen products and might switch back since I can't really see how this price is something that people are purchasing regularly. Chicken wings are my favorite thing to cook for dinner lately because it portions out nicely, cooks easily, and takes up the marinades really well. I guess thought that other cuts might be tried since this is really expensive. At the rate of $10 for 14 pieces total of tiny chicken wings that are mostly bone, this isn't cost effective for a family on a budget. Also, I noticed that the packet under the chicken wings that soaks up the moisture to keep it fresh feels very heavy so in actuality are we getting all the chicken for the weight that is listed on the package? I don't really think so but I could be wrong. The taste is good, the quality of the chicken wings is very good, and the fact that they are antibiotic free is all great and all, but I need something more economical and equally tasty. If you do this once in a while, until the price goes down, it works. I guess it has to do mostly with how trendy it is to eat chicken wings these days. This is a good product but just doesn't fit my budget that well. So I will continue my search for a more cost friendly meat option for the family. Read more
