These are the only boots I will buy. They are durable, fit Perfect and don't wear out very fast! I have purchased 2 of these and the comfort is the BEST while dealing with horses and farm work. I even wear them in the City. They may fade but a little mink oil will darken them. There are hardly any scratches on them from barb wire but I am clumbsy and they look good worn. These boots are remarkably well made and comofrtable. They are also BEAUTIFUL! Be aware of two shopping considerations: A) If you have a size 10 foot that is sometimes a size 10.5, go with 10.5. Mine fit perfectly in 10.5 B and can take a thick sock as well as thin. B) The box marks the color as Turquoise, Amazon called the boots Brown-- I received a stunningly designed perfect pair of drop dead gorgeous boots with all leather uppers in a whiskey brown and rich green. The Green is like the color of the new growth of a young evergreen in Spring and has marvelous quality of tone that is subtly variegated. These boots look much more expensive than their reasonable price. The trim is just elegant in a simple gold and white embroidery . I purchased a pair of these Justin boots and fell in love. They have held up to being worn in the rain and mud as well as line dancing several days every week. The insoles are very comfortable, and I have a bad back so that is saying a lot for this pair of boots. The soles are sturdy and do not wear out easily. The fit is true to size and getting the boots here on amazon is a much cheaper choice than my local western store. You will be pleased with the value for what you are getting. Read more

I purchased a pair to replace my old ones. I normally wear 8.5 to 9 in boots, but the size 9 in these runs small and narrow in the toe box. So I tried the 9.5 and it is just a little too big. Because there is no heel definition in this style, it fits kind of like a rain boot. So with the 1/2 size up I had to add an additional insert, and still I was clomping around with my heels slipping up and down a bit. They make the noise of rain boots when I walk. Also, with this batch that are sold on Amazon, they are stiff as a board, and have some minor defects: If you do not mind the defects the sale price is $30.00 less than other online retailers. I bought 2 pairs and returned both: on both pairs, the right boot was a tiny bit wider than the left. On one pair, the rubber around the toes was cut differently: on the left boot the rubber jut out a bit, and on the right boot it was cut correctly and did not jut out. The second pair the rubber was fine. Both pairs had a strip of light brown powdery substance surrounding the foot just above the rubber outsole. Also minor scuffs on both heel and foot, and signs of wear in shaft being wrinkled and caved in on the ankle region. They are just completely dried out. I used Lexol Neat's-foot Leather conditioner and it improved the leather dryness pretty well, as this conditioner softens leather. And all the scuffs and light brown powdery substance around the toes completely disappeared. They were just completely dried out. But after rubbing it in, then the piping around the perimeter on one boot began peeling. They must have been stored too long, as long storage can dry boot leather out. These were pretty stiff even after applying conditioner, although better than they were before applying conditioner, so a bit more conditioning would help. The Seller is very nice, helpful and responsive to answer questions, and the returns are easy. But if you want to avoid these problems, I would purchase from a different retailer and watch out for the same defects showing up. Otherwise if you do not mind having to use a conditioner (conditioners with Neat's-foot or Neat's-foot oil is really good for dried out leather), and having to break them in, and if the sizing fits, the sale price of $30.00 less than other retailers are currently charging is not bad.
