Despite the high rating, it's extremely hard to recommend this item to people. The big problem is that these headphones are far too sensitive for most devices. When these are plugged into my phone I hear noise whenever there's activity on the screen, and charging adds a noticeable hiss. When you provide really, really clean amplification, in my case tested on a FiiO M11 and a desktop THX amp, these sound shockingly clear, though a little bass forward for my tastes, but it's a little hard to sell an audiophile on these when there are alternatives from Koss that sound much better for just a few more dollars. Fortunately these have another appeal point, and that's convenience. These are one of the very few in-ear devices that are comfortable to actually wear for long periods, at least for me. They don't isolate sound, which is a mixed bag but works well for me to wear at work and still be able to hear my surroundings perfectly well. The amp dependency isn't a huge problem if you're just listening to podcasts or dialogue. I think this is the perfect product for an extremely specific niche where I am, but if you can't accommodate a hypersensitive headphone you might be disappointed with these. Read more

I had previously bought these things after i had forgotten my previous work earbuds at home. They may be cheap, but i have to say they last, with my last pair going for 3+ years. Pros: Sound is loud and rather clear for its basic design, great for podcasts The rubber earpieces i find much more comfortable than the "bud" style Cable is thin and smooth, excellent for wearing underneath workout clothing/ uniforms Plug is a "straight out" instead of a right angle, although this could be a con depending on what you're looking for Lastly. these things are surprisingly long lasting at their price point Cons: The actual cable can be a bit stiff when stuffing it into pockets/ backpacks. My best guess is that this is what killed my old set. Wind noise can be an issue, its usually fine even on mildly windy days, but when on a bicycle or dealing with gusty winds it gets annoying It has a Mic/Pause button but no volume controls In short, if your looking for exercise/ daily work beaters, these things will stand up to the task. Reasonable for the price. I like this style of fit, with some penetration into the ear, while maintaining an open feel. These offer very little in the way of noise isolation, but they don't bleed too badly either. I saw a recommendation for these as an alternative to the discontinued, and wonderful, Sony MDR-ED12LP. Unfortunately, they don't live to those Sony's in terms of sound quality, but those were my favorite "open" (ie. non-sealing) style of earbuds ever, so that's not particularly surprising, nor does it necessarily mean that these aren't worth owning. They're comfortable, assuming you like this style, and they sound good (maybe B-). They do drop off fairly severely at about 60Hz, but that's not atypical for small, open earbuds. With some semi-aggressive EQ they sound quite nice. They're not great, but a solid addition to my earbud collection, and at this price it's tough to go wrong. Read more

These earphones are okay, The white part of the actual earbud is removable like many other earbuds with rubber caps, something I did not expect when I bought it. It takes a while to get used to placing the earphone in you ear correctly because the silicone on the earbuds is very thin and pliable. Upon placing the the earphone in my ears the silicone bud would fold up incorrectly and would muddle the should and I would have to jiggle it around until the earbud placed itself correctly in my ear and I could continue my jog. The sound quality of these are satisfactory at best and not great by any means, but not horrible at the same time. Since purchasing them I lost one of the earbuds making it impossible to use the earbud because of the strange shape of the earbud, meaning I cannot put it in my ear without discomfort., and the peculiar shape makes it difficult to find replacements. I've had to purchase these earbuds twice for the same reason. After a few months, the right side stops working & it's very strange to hear out of one ear only. These earbuds are not cheap and having to replace them every few months becomes expensive. Unfortunately, these are the only types that fit well with my Roku remote, so I'm slightly stuck because by the time it goes bad, the warranty has expired. Read more

I have bought four of these over the years, and they all still work. I keep one at work, one in my purse, one in the car, and one at home. I have tried every style and size of the others, but these are the only ones that fit in my ear and stay put. They are soft and never hurt.
