i have absolutely refused to use any earbuds besides these very specific ones for several years now. every other earbud that i have tried out, no matter how high the praises from reviews, has been garbage in terms of sound quality. maybe my ears are just super used to these, but no other kind of earbud ever sounds as clear?? they always sound muffled or even far away and have too much bass to mask poor sound quality. but these actually sound good. audio is crisp and clear and not too bassy. they fit my ears very well, too. most regular earbuds are too small for my ears, and speakered earphones are too big. these fit me in juuust the right way to allow for noise cancelling and prevent sound from leaking out when im listening to music really loud, which is great because i am embarrassed about my music taste and dont want to disturb other people around me when i listen to loud music. genuinely fantastic for the price. the first time i went to re-buy them, i fully expected to have to pay like $20-50 and was shocked to find theyre so inexpensive for the quality. i, as a consumer, am not well versed in knowing what counts as poor manufacturing quality so i cant speak for that. i will say that in my case they usually stop working on one side after 3-6 months of use. thats probably a downside to most folks, but i personally dont mind having to re-buy a new pair every few months, given how inexpensive they are. i wont dock stars for the breaking though, as the breaking might also be entirely my fault from rough handling or wire bending over time, as i take these with me literally everywhere no matter what and theyre usually balled up and stuffed in my pocket. ive bought these over and over probably a dozen times now in the roughly 5 years ive been sticking to them. im sure i sound like im meatriding JVC right now, but this is my honest review as the self-proclaimed #1 fan of these earbuds. this is not meant to be objective, just detailing my personal experience with them. this review was also NOT paid for or generated using AI in any way, since we have reached the point where that needs to be specified now. biggest downside i can say is that the packaging is borderline impossible to open without scissors, and you might get cut on the sharp plastic if you try with your bare hands, so be warned. as of the time im writing this review, i dont yet have the product in hand to take a picture of, as its out for delivery. so have a seal instead. sorry for the long rambling review and thank you for reading :) Read more

This is the second time I've purchased these particular earbuds. The price was great & I had liked the one-quantity pair so much that I bought the 2-pack of the same version: one to use as a spare at home & the other for the office. At home I use them at night plugged into a Roku controller for private listening. They are so comfortable I can even wear them to bed, placing a bud in only one ear & setting the Roku timer to shut the TV off in case I happen to fall asleep. The sound quality is excellent whether I use one earbud or two. Another good feature is that because they are "gummy" I can place them in my ears such as to allow me to hear only the sound coming from the earbuds. In the office, I can adjust the placement so I will be able to have private listening from my laptop yet also hear when someone is trying to talk to me. If I ever misplace a pair, I will definitely order these earbuds for a third time. Read more

A little disappointed that they're a VERY different shade of purple than depicted in the listing, but I like them nonetheless. I also wish they had a right angle plug. They're the sort of quality you'd expect for the price, they work just fine for regular use but they aren't audiophile quality of course and do sound a little crunchy on certain pitches. This isn't a problem at all for me though, because I got them to replace some wired headphones I use for work that really hurt my ears and these are MUCH more comfortable and fit in my small ears without causing soreness. I make a lot of videos with audio and can't use my good bluetooth earbuds due to audio delay, so that's the main reason I bought these. To be honest, I was a little disappointed by these earbuds. I have had them for less than a year and they are no longer working. About a month ago, the right earbud stopped working entirely for no apparent reason. (This also happened with my last pair.) Last week, the left side earbud became disconnected from the body (see picture). Earlier today one of the two wires ripped and officially killed them. It's worth noting that I only use them in my office at work. This might not seem so bad, but I had a pair of these previously that lasted me five years. I was hoping that buying online would give me the same quality, but this doesn't seem to be the case. However, this product still gets three stars because they worked very well for the short duration I had them. The earbuds themselves are very comfortable and have great sound quality. I also appreciated the different ear piece sizes. To be fair, $8 for a pair of earbuds that lasts 9 months isn't horrible; I'm just looking for something that lasts me longer. Read more
