Pretty fly! This hoodie is such a cool mix of structured and comfy. I have long arms and usually struggle with sleeve length, but this one fit perfectly—even had a little extra, which I loved! I’m 5'8" and 175 lbs and the medium was just right. Super flattering with the corset detail, and still cozy enough to lounge in or dress up a bit. Total win! Read more

The design and idea of this is very cute. It is not mean for someone with any curves though. There is no give in the fabric, so if you need any abdominal give, this is not the one for you. For $140 I'd expect a to not receive, an item with loose threads hanging (there were quite a few) or with seams that already look pulled and loose. I would not spend this amount for what you get. I’ve never seen a design quite like this and it’s outstanding. It’s a combination of a waist length black zip up hoodie with an extra large hood, and an easy function silver zipper up the front and exaggerated balloon sleeves. However the zipper hoodie is combined with a black leather bustier-type addition that serves as the foundation for the jacket and creates a unique and flattering finished look. The fit is as expected. The leather feels like it’s been treated well, and the material portion of the jacket is a durable, medium weight. This sweatshirt is, quite frankly, a head-scratcher. The sizing guide provided is grossly misleading, as I was taken aback by how vastly oversized it was when it arrived. To add to this, the design features sleeves that are not just large but excessively wide and disproportionately long. In theory, a simple sweatshirt enhanced with a faux leather corset at the hem could have been a charming piece. Unfortunately, the designer chose to go overboard with the concept, creating an item that, rather than being trendy, ends up looking absurd and entirely unwearable. The intention behind the design was clearly ambitious, but the execution has led to a garment that misses the mark entirely. Read more

The main hoodie material is really comfortable and feels high quality The faux leather is surprisingly thick and maintains its shape well but there's no actual boning just decorative channels The size fits as expected for an XS, but there is a gap in the hip area due to how the 'corset' part is constructed. if you don't have the curves for it it sticks out a bit Overall it's a good garment and an innovative design, but it is not perfectly executed. The JW PEI Valentina Structured Corset Hoodie in the Color: Black and Size 6 is Fabulous!!! I love it!! The fit is perfect on me. It feels comfortable to wear with nice stretch to the fabric! It's a bit overpriced IMO but the presentation comes across as luxe, it comes in three envelopes inside each other. The materials are nicer than your average hoodie from the fabric to the zipper quality. It's really soft all over, and thick. I guess the listing image kind of conveys this, but...the sleeves are insanely long, like a good 6 inches at least, more than you need for just a bit of a scrunched up look. Plus the sleeves are too wide to stay on your wrist for that kind of look. So I will need to have the sleeves made smaller I think. Otherwise the proportions are great for a 5'3" person. I have a M cup chest and the top looks flatteringly sexy, showing just enough cleavage. This also runs larger than I expected, the waist is 32" and it's stretchy so actually I can wear this even though I got it thinking it can be a 'weight loss goals' garment for this winter but it fits me now and I'm more around a Size 12 not 8 currently.
