As a Boston Terrier owner myself, I understand the struggle to find toys that can withstand their playful...ahem...enthusiasm. That's why I was excited to try this squeaky rubber bouncy ball, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer for two of my three furballs! **Here's what I loved:** * **Perfect size for Bostons:** The small size is ideal for their little mouths, preventing squabbles over toy theft. My two chewers can comfortably hold and chomp without feeling overwhelmed. * **Durable (for some):** It's held up surprisingly well against the determined chomping of my moderate chewer. The rubber seems thick and resilient, offering a satisfying chew session without immediate disintegration. * **Squeaky satisfaction:** The built-in squeaker is high-pitched and enticing, sending my playful pup into zoomies with every squeak. * **Bouncy fun:** It bounces like a champ, keeping playtime engaging and active. Plus, the small size makes it easy to launch for indoor fetch sessions. **However, it's not without its limitations:** * **Mr. Chompers' kryptonite:** My most destructive chewer has already made some headway in demolishing this ball. While it's holding up better than other toys, I suspect its days are numbered with him. * **Durability unknown:** Time will tell how long it lasts with my moderate chewer, but initial impressions are positive. **Overall:** This squeaky rubber ball is a winner for two out of my three Bostons. The small size, durability (for some), and engaging squeak make it a playtime favorite. However, for aggressive chewers, it might be a temporary victory. If you have a Boston with gentle to moderate chewing habits, this ball is definitely worth a try! Just be prepared for potential demolition with champion chewers. Read more

I found this large ball at a great price! I figured I would give it a try for my German Shepard who is an aggressive chewer and loves squeaky balls like this. He loved it instantly but when I went to try to order another one I found the price went up to 10$ or more from other sellers. So yeah I’m happy with this ball and I was super happy to pay 2.58$ including tax for it, I definitely won’t order it again at the 10$ price point. It’s a sturdy ball with a loud duck like squeak and he loves it already but paying 3X as much for the same toy I just purchased a few days ago isn’t okay or worth my time. I never buy more than one ball the first time I’m trying a new toy out because like I said my GSD is an aggressive chewer and I’ve wasted more money than I care to admit when he destroys a ball in a few minutes. So yeah great ball really sturdy and we love it, but not for the new price of 10$ or more. This company is awesome too. I guess I will still be searching for toys. Ugh. But I still gave 5 stars because this toy rocks just not okay to up the price after I purchased one ball. I’m just wondering why? Read more

Please be aware that this is NOT a ball to be left alone with your dog if he chews at all. I have experimented with large, squeaker rubber dog balls for my growing German Shepherd, (now almost 100 pounds), and throughout all my experiments with the "extra durable, top of the line" balls, I keep ordering a new JW iSqueak! Within days, sometimes minutes, other balls fall prey to broken squeakers from spit clogging them to general uninterest by my dog. These balls withstand the most horrific pounding from my dog and I. The JW ball withstands being thrown for 40 minutes daily, spit, slobber, mud, freezing temperatures, rain, being wiped down between throws, cleaning and the enthusiasm of my dog catching it in mid air. He often stands for 3-5 minutes squeaking this ball rapidly over and over before putting it back on my lap. The abuse this ball can take is amazing! This ball is not made of very thick rubber and is quite light compared to 'premium' balls. The rubber does wear down after a bit but even when it is torn open on many sides it seals it's self enough to still squeak!!! No other ball, no matter how expensive or popular can compare. Believe me, I have tried most of them after forty years of German Shepherds. Yes, it will tear open, but only after the intense, abusive playtime one can imagine. This ball is amazing for the ease one can squeak it before throwing....so I may need to replace it more often. I guarantee, it's worth it. Read more

Nice quality ball & I like the shape. I've been looking for a ball for a couple of our large shelter dogs who love to carry them around all day in their mouths and I think these will hold up ( at least longer than what I've found, so far). They are what I'd call " semi- soft" rubber...not too stiff like the Kong balls so they are flexible. It does take some effort to make them squeak but they work. It's not an annoying squeak for humans ( though dogs love those ) HARTZ makes a Duraball squeaky ball ( comes in two sizes) that they love and it's very soft and fairly durable, too but not quite as big and that squeaker is really noisy, but they love it ! I buy those on Amazon, too. I think these JW balls will be good but the test will be at our SPCA where everything gets a real workout! ( Postscript: One clever dog managed to break the squeaker in 2 days...Hartz makes a more durable squeaky ball) These balls come in Two sizes : Medium ( size of baseball) & Large ( slightly larger than a softball) Read more
