My cocker spaniel was given one of these balls a few years ago and it is her favorite toy. Sheβs small and it is a perfect size for her smaller mouth. They seem to last forever until they roll off the deck and into the blackberriesπ Read more

My dog is very rough on balls with squeaky noises, but this has remained squeaking for a long time. Very well made. Read more

Too small for 30lbs Pitbull. He loves small toys including small rubber dog toy balls. However the squeaker portion of this toy could not stand up to his constant up down teeth movement. The dog heavy teeth stressed the squeaker joint to the point that the rubber seal gave way and the squeaker fell inside the ball. Although I can maneuver the piece back to its original position, without glue it falls back inside the next time he chews. Outside of this one downside, overall the rubber portion of the ball itself held up beautifully against his hard teeth. The rubber never tore or split, no matter how long he chewed. I highly recommend JW Pet dog toys. I have several of the company's other dog toys. The rubber had held up against this dog and prior 90lbs German Shepherd's chew habits extremely well. I simply will buy the same toy ball but in a larger size in hopes of having a dog toy that will last against this Pitbull. Read more

If my dogs were to rate their love for this toy, they'd give it a solid 5 Stars! It's their favorite ball, I always buy multiple of these, because no matter how many others I have for them, the JW ones are the ones that they all want to play with. That said, the toy isn't as durable as I'd want it to be. Be careful as it can very quickly become a choking hazard. I'd supervise playtime always with this one. These toys last anywhere from a week to a month before they: 1. destroy the squeaker and 2. start tearing it apart. All that said, I wish it was still $, but the current price point isn't bad enough to stop me from continuing to order these over and over given how happy they make my pups. Read more

We have bought a few of these and the dogs love them. None of them squeak now but they still love them. I think they broke the squeaker within a week or less, but dogs still play with them every day, they love playing fetch with them. They only have 1 squeaky toy out of like 10 that the squeaker actually still works so we're used to that and pretty much expect it. The small is great for all of our dogs, but the medium is okay too. Our small yorkie-poo seems to prefer the medium size, but the largest cocker-spaniel prefers the small size, just depends on your dog. Most of the smalls we have ordered were blue, and all of the medium were red. We did receive a small one once that was red, so I do not think they are completely consistent with the colors and the sizes, but the dogs don't really care about that so neither do we. First picture of yorkie-poo is the small red ball. Other pictures are the small blue ball. The last picture has the medium red ball in the background. Read more

Update: Nine days after receiving the medium-sized ball: I was playing fetch with my dog. I always squeak the ball in between throws, because my dog gets really excited at the sound. I squeaked it, threw it, and my dog retrieved it...Only for me to find that the ball will no longer squeak. This happened during a fetch session, so I know my dog did nothing to the ball to damage it (no chewing, etc. Just caught it and returned it to me). Now, air just hisses out of it and a *tiny* squeak comes out right at the very end, as if the squeaker is broken. I can't find any holes in it, so it has to be an issue with the squeaker itself. It has always sounded lower-pitched than my dog's other, 3 year old iSqueak ball, but I just figured maybe JW changed the squeaker design at some point in the past 3 years, since the last time I bought one. Very disappointing. My dog keeps trying to squeak it and whining at it. :( I hope this is just a defective ball, because my dog loves JW iSqueak balls, and the old ones were so durable. Amazon is issuing me a refund. I'm just going to purchase my new one at Petsmart, like I usually do. 3 stars because the product was delivered in a timely manner, and it still functions as a regular ball...just without the squeaker that my dog loves. :/ Original Review: My Australian Cattle Dog mix has had a green iSqueak ball ever since she was a puppy (3 years ago). Even though it's a size small, it's still held up to her chewing (which is rare for her toys lol), with only a few teeth marks on the plastic covering the squeaker, and it still remains a favorite toy of hers. She plays with it almost every day. My parents recently adopted a Lab/Boxer mix puppy, so I purchased a second ball for their puppy. The new one has a slightly different design. There's a small intention/hole next to the squeaker that isn't there on my dog's older iSqueak ball and the squeak sounds just slightly lower pitched. However, the ball seems to function the same and feels just as durable. Their puppy, Zoe, loves it! I give this product 5 stars, as it's worth every penny! I love JW products! Read more

This is the only brand ball and color my dog will play with! I was excited to be able to find one just like it after my dogs disappeared after having it for 13 years, but a green ball was shipped by mistake. Amazon was quick to fix the mistake and we received the correct color ball today! My 15 year old dog was so excited, thank you! Read more

I bought this for my 2 yr, old Yorkie - he loves squeaker toys but the toys do not last very long and this ball was no exception. Though it seemed to be well built my Yorkie chewed out the squeaker in less than 20 minutes and destroyed the ball in another 30 minutes. The ball appears to be rubber and the squeaker is hard plastic. He literally chewed the ball apart - small rubber chunks everywhere. The squeaker is large enough for you to retrieve once you no longer hear it squeak, but you have to be on top of the chew progress. This item is definitely not designed for dogs that love to chew. So I am still looking for the ultimate squeaking chew toy for him. Read more
