I have a 55-pound 2-year-old rescue dog with boundless energy, and there are only two things that tire him out and calm him down when he's all riled up: 1️⃣ Running and playing in the yard 2️⃣ Mental stimulation and concentration On days we can't spend time outside because of bad weather or work being done in the yard, I decided to get this puzzle so we could do something other than revisit all his training activities and commands. When I first presented him with the puzzle, he was wary of it and didn't want to go near it, but after a little while the scent of the treats in it got the better of him. He thought about it, sniffed, pawed and figured out how to spin the covers to get the reward. After he was done, he just went to his bed to nap. After he figures out a puzzle, we do it at least once a day for a week or so then move up a level, periodically going back and doing puzzles from the past to mix things up. Now the puzzles are one of his favorite things to do and he gets excited when he sees me take it out. Not only is it good for him, in that it makes him think and problem solve, but it's a really nice way to spend time with him, encouraging his progress and bonding. My dog is an aggressive chewer and much stronger than he realizes and after weeks of use this looks and works like it just came out of the box so it's clearly made to last. Yes, it's a bit pricey for a dog toy, but for the problem solving and mental stimulation it provides, I believe it's worth every cent. Read more

This puzzle is awesome. My poodle loves it, there are several difficulty levels, she figured out the first two on her own, I had to show her the rest and she is obsessed. It gives her good 20 minute stimulation, just wonderful to see how smart she is and how she loves the challenge of getting to her treats. Read more

My dog loves this puzzle. It’s got multiple levels and you can make it as easy or hard as you want. It’s fun to watch her discover how to get to the treat after she’s mastered the easier levels. It’s very sturdy and I don’t worry about her trying to chew it to get to the treat instead of figuring out how to move the treat to the dispensing area. The only issue I have is the price. It cost a lot more than the other puzzles I have purchased. Granted, the quality is great and the puzzle is challenging, but I’m not sure it’s worthy of the high cost. Read more

The first puzzle toy I bought that actually keeps my dog occupied. She even gets tired and goes back to it later. All other puzzle toys I bought her, she has been able to finish very quickly. She gets bored very easily, so this was a good one and a keeper Read more

She hasn’t quite figured out how to move the domed piece but my puppy loves this puzzle. Expensive for what it is. Seems durable so far. The pieces do stick a bit and can pop out. She loves to scratch at the squeaker which is kind of loud. So far so good. We will see how it withstands a Malinois. Easy to set up. Easy to clean. Keeps her entertained for brief moments Read more
