Fit perfectly. Not too tight but stay up nicely and so warm. Bought them to wear over leggings when walking in winter and they really make a difference. Just got them so I will need to see how they hold up with washing (by hand, for me, with a silk and wool blend). Read more
I finally found the best calf/leg warmer. It never slide down, can pull up to cover my knee and it stays. I even do senior aerobic with it on and it stays. It has slightest compression yet comfortable, great for colder, cooler days. It is well made. I simply love it. Thank you Kakun Japan Signature. Read more

This is one of my best purchases ever. I bought 2 pairs of these. I wear them under trousers. They keep my feet warm even during the cold winter hikes. Get these, you will be glad you did. Read more

These legwarmers are two layers. The exterior layer (of the color I got) is a bit of a heather type grey, with a bit of a halo (softness/fuzziness) to the yarn, knitted with a rib texture. It looks like an elastic thread is also part of the construction. The interior lining is a very thin/fine yarn, in off-white, and not knitted in ribbing. The yarn you see on the outside is not the yarn that is against the skin (except for at the top). They fit tightly, but have good stretch. I find them a little itchy, but have sensitive skin. There aren't any washing instructions on the legwarmers themselves, but there was a sticker under the sticker on the bag they come in, and I peeled the top one off to try and figure it out. They used universal laundry icons, and I think these are machine washable, but NOT machine dryable. I like ease of care, so I have run them through the dryer (and felt they did fine), but it's not recommended. My only disappointment with these is that the end near the ankle isn't finished nicely. It's just like a serged end with thread. This reduces bulk, but I don't think it looks very nice. The top is finished so nicely, with the exterior yarn being folded into the inside top. I wish they had done a traditional "cast off" with the knitting instead of finishing it in this manner. However, I do like the legwarmers overall, and, though the photos are not very clear, looking at them closely, you can sort of see how the bottom edge is finished. Read more
I got these leg warmers for my wife who is chronically cold. They have that mix of dance class meets 80s nostalgia in looks. The outer shell is a nice charcoal grey ribbed knitted acrylic and wool mix that is surgered on the bottom end. The top end is a folded over hem that meets the lighter tan-ish colored silk inner lining. My wife loves these and has worn them a few times after we first got them. The combination of wool and silk materials are good for keeping in the body heat. These will need to be hand washed if the material description is accurate. Wool and silk typically don't take well to machine washing or drying. Overall, these are nice looking plus they look good on my spouse. We haven't had any problems with snags, pilling, or unravelling at all from these. They appear to be well sewn and put together thus far. A good product. 5 stars. Read more
