I’m only giving these 4 stars because I really wish they would do half sizes. I sized up because I need them to be comfortable and have room for thick socks. Not comfortable so plan on getting some insoles. (I am on my feet all day and wear these to work.) One perk is that they did come with 2 pairs of insoles. First of all, value of these are so worth it! Competitively they are a bargain when you look at prices of Huks or other popular brands. These have all the “bells and whistles” of the super convenient kick off nodes, two loops to help pull on as well as the waterproof material & high quality soles. They have withstood my brutal job cleaning pools & getting highly corrosive Muriatic acid on them albeit diluted with water thank God! (I’ve seen that stuff melt concrete & it burns like Hades getting any on skin) The sizing; I got size 8 even though I’m typically 8.5 or sometimes 9 after having kids & gaining weight- depending on the brand. However, I wanted them snug since I’d be wearing them cleaning 8 pools a day. At first- I was super disappointed that I made the mistake of going too small after pulling them on & feeling super comfy- heading to work and my right foot began going numb every time I was driving with them at the angle of being propped upwards. They were tight at the top of my metatarsals & my toes were squeezed. HOWEVER, I already got them dirty & was committed so I just kicked em off while driving and I believe they stretched out from movement, wearing them in and now I’m super glad I stuck with them! They were VERY heavy it felt like I had weights in my boots. and I wish I had sized down. I am a 7 1/2 and I got an 8 and they were way to big. Was comfortable other than the size issue and quality was great. This would be 5 stars if the boots were not overly heavy. Read more
