This powder is definitely a texturizer but I would not call it "high hold"; medium at best. The powder has a slight scent and is white in color resembling talcum powder. You shake it on your hair and work it thru but be very careful or you may end up looking like you have dandruff. I do not recommend wearing a black shirt during the application process. It seems to coat your hair with something kind of sticky which gives this powder its styling abilities. It does OK but do not try to do anything major that requires high hold. The box would lead you to believe that this is a Japanese product but it is made in China. Not bad so I give it 4 stars. Read more
