I really like this swimdress. I am in my 60’s and I prefer to be covered at the pool or lake. I am just under 5 foot and my weight is 130-135. This is long on me because I am so short, it actually is only a couple of inches above my knees. The bust offers good support and good coverage. The color is lovely and stays nice even after many rinses. I feel this suit is very durable, well made, and offers very good coverage. The shorts are a good fit as well. The only thing I don’t like is it’s too much clothing for lap swimming, but perfect for lounging at the pool and playing with grandkids at the beach. Good coverage for obsessively modest grandma. I would recommend this garment for someone who wants a lot of coverage at the pool. Read more

I absolutely love this swim dress! It's super flattering and it's well made. The colors is vibrant and it's very comfortable to wear all day. I love that the swim shorts are separate from the dress, which makes things so much easier in the bathroom. I ordered an XL to be sure it wasn't too snug and it fits perfectly. Very cute summer dress / swim suit. Comfortable and flattering. Fits nicely and seems to be well made. One problem that I have with it is the boy shorts. They are not tummy control and the legs ride up on them, even though they are very short. And the “very short” is where the problem lies. These are NOT lined. All other two piece suits that I have purchased have the lined boy shorts which is great if you’re going to be in the water … and especially if they’re short. I love the top so am not returning. I have several other “lined” boy short bottoms that I can wear with this. I also want to say that I “assumed” the swim shorts would be lined, and when I went back and read the description, it wasn’t stated. My bad … but I’m still deducting one star. Read more

As a woman of a certain age, I decided to look into a swim dress that was cute but also modest. This swim dress is it! I tried on five others but this was by far the most flattering and easy to wear. The boy shorts fit great and the dress swings around your hips and thighs loosely and comfortably. I took it for a swim in Lake Michigan and it works well. I thought the extra material would bother me or float up in the water but it’s not the case. I will wear it with my grandkids and feel like a feminine and stylish grandmother! I am taking one star off for the effort it takes to take off the swim dress, which is over your head. In some ways I which it were a one piece (exclude the boy shorts) and a suit that I could pull up over my hips instead of lifting over my head. The empire waist band is snug and makes it hard to take the suit off. That’s my only complaint. Read more

I'm 5' 7", 127 lbs, and have a long torso. I bought size XS. Pros: Seems to be well made. Colors are as represented on product images. Good coverage; modest. The length goes to my fingertips. I have shortish arms and a long torso, so the length may vary on other body types. High waistband, bow detail, and flared skirt are flattering for my figure type. Waistband fits well. Not too tight or too loose. Bust has padded cups that are removable, but secure. They seem like they will prevent "headlights," which is important to me. Everything feels very secure, covered, and modest. This includes the neckline, which does not reveal any cleaveage (not that I really have any to speak of), when bending forward. Cons: Arm holes are too tight and constructing. This honestly may be the deal breaker for me. While I appreciate the coverage they provide, I plan to swim in this suit and I feel like the arm holes may end up chaffing and feeling too tight when doing various strokes. Even without moving my arms, they feel too snug. I have very small arms, so I can't image this suit fitting anyone comfortably in the arm area. Bust area has weird bunching underneath, where the gathers are, which is not flattering to my size 34A bust. If you have a bit more cleavage, that might help fill it out and not cause the odd silhouette. See pics. I wish this set had navy blue shorts to match the background color of the top piece. Instead, they are black. Not a deal breaker, but a minor annoyance. I think all the sets have black shorts. In summary, as much as I like most aspects of this set, I'm leaning toward returning it, due to the tight armhole situation. So disappointing. Excellent quality. Very comfortable. I like the tummy control that does not compromise comfort. The bottoms come up high enough to be very comfortable. Shapes full figure with comfort and style. Support with extreme comfort. I love this swimsuit! I feel like I look really good in it and it is modest but has sex appeal. The colors and prints are fabulous.
