kate spade new york Bangle Bracelet

I bought this to be part of a stack of bracelets for an upcoming formal occasion. (I am going with white enamel, clear CZ stones, and gold.) I am very happy with it. Please note that this has a fairly narrow diameter so it won't be suitable for everyone. As it happens, I have small hands and tiny wrists (5.5 inches in circumference) and it was easy to get this on and I don't have to worry about it falling off. It would probably work for someone with slightly larger hands than I have, but it will definitely not work for every hand size, so keep that in mind. (Even if the circumference is appropriate for your wrist, don't forget you have to slip it on over your fist...) I like the simplicity of this. It will tie some of the more disparate elements of my bracelet stack together. Mine was in very good shape when it arrived; I do not know what the metal coating is (it only says "gold tone" in the listing) but it was smooth and even and with none of that iridescence that marks cheaper metal platings. I see there have been some complaints about the quality of this bracelet at various points in the past. I purchased mine directly from Amazon, not a third party, and I definitely received a genuine bracelet. It cam with the stamping on the inner part of the bracelet clear and legible (though of course not visible while you are wearing it) as well as an authentic-looking tag and the Kate Spade bag that these are supposed to come with. I wear this all the time, no discolouration so far. I have verryyyyy small wrists and it fits quite big but that feels like the point. It warms up nicely and so the cold metal against my skin isn’t a worry. Read more

The images make the bracelet seem like a flat, brushed gold bangle. As you can see from my photo (mangled thumb nail for scale) it isn’t that. I don’t hate shiny but that’s not what I was selecting for here. There are also subtle differences on the inside of the thing. Kinda vibes like “Spate Kade” if you know what I mean. But I had it mailed to me in a far off land so alas I cannot return it. And, like I said, it’s a nice bracelet- and I do wear it - just… well, you get it. YMMV but don’t get this if you’re expecting a decent quality piece like I was. Read more
