I love this bag. I take it everywhere that I don’t take my work backpack. I can fit so much in this thing, including my owala water bottle. The front zipper compartment holds way more than you’d think. Mine stores my Kleenex, lactaid, and hand sanitizer. The top Velcro compartment has multiple chapsticks, don’t ask. I don’t know how they keep getting there. Nothing falls out of it. It’s the only place I don’t lose chapstick. I can fit my water bottle, giant key ring, tampons, coin purse, cell phone, and giant sunglasses case between the two main zipper compartments. At some point I’d like to get a larger Kavu but I don’t actually NEED a larger one. I carried this thing on me for two weeks in India during monsoon season with sunscreen in there too. My partner looks forward to the day that I buy a new one so they can have this one. Also, I’ve had NO issues with zippers, fabric, buckles, anything. Like I’ve said this thing has been in other countries, buses, airplanes, hikes, beaches, and it holds up! The only downside I’ve found is as a larger chested gal, I notice the bag strap doesn’t always stay in my preferred place in the center of my chest. It likes to wonder to one side so sometimes I weight down the bottom by putting a finger in there to pull it down or tighten the straps, etc. It doesn’t ruin the bag for me but has made me question if my body would prefer a bag with two straps instead of a cross body. Everyone else I know with one of these bags is small chested and doesn’t have this problem … so probably is only something you need to consider if you can’t find your bra size in a department store. It is mini, but I can fit wallet, phone, minimal makeup bag and a bottle of water, plus put my sunglasses in the front zipper compartment. I keep my keys on a clip ring, so attach them to the strap. The interior zipper pocket is very deep (ha, almost too much). Extra cards/chapstick fit in the upper Velcro compartment on the front. I love the design, it's purplish and cute. Zipper is a little sticky, but perhaps that will get better with time. Easy to carry on one shoulder or crossbody BUT I always forget "handedness" matters. I'm left handed, and these are designed to be worn by right-handers. It's ok, but will keep it from being my everyday bag, which is really what I wanted. I can’t wait to use this on hiking trips! This is the smaller size for the KAVU backpack- my second one in a different color. Like the vibrant greens and orange in this tropical-looking backpack. They are always durable and carry a lot of items in the four pockets. If you have larger glasses/sunglasses, they may not fit as in my case. I like that these are lightweight and can be tossed in the washer to clean with no dulling of colors. Read more
