This system works. I tried the system with the plastic clips that screw on the cover with a supplied bungee chord. The screw parts snapped and the bungee chords were too long allowing the bottom of the cover to be blown off over the bumper section in very strong wind. I have an older car and this cover fits it very well, and is easy to put on all by myself without assistance and I don’t need any additional clamps to make it stay on the car. The pockets on the side mirrors help stabilize the cover as you’re putting it on. The material also has reflective strips on the corner so that it can be seen at night. The elastic corners fit really well. I highly recommend this cover because it comes very well packaged, professionally, easy to extract from the shipping bag and use immediately. Comes with a storage bag and a cable that you can use to secure the cover even more so. Also, this is 1/3 of the price that I have paid before for covers that do not last an entire season and also had a fuzzy inside that attracted dirt which gets into your car. My car is a convertible and I wanted a car cover that could go over the car while the top is down (so that leaves and dust are minimized) and this is exactly perfect. It will also be a great cover during the fall and winter when I have to put the car roof top back on. I won’t use that third-party car cover vendor anymore. This was a great cover... up UNTIL we had some strong winds and then it ripped right down the middle. I'm thinking that the rear low profile ceramic antenna on the roof rubbed it too much with the winds, but it was not tight around that area so it should have not put any pressure... Well, either way, next morning it was cut in half surgically. If there are no winds then this is a create cover, like if you keep the vehicle inside the garage, but then why use a cover? Read more

After looking around at different covers that were badly designed or too expensive (one was over 600 dollars) I settled on this light reflective cover with the zipper for the driver's door. It's very well designed, weather resistant, and fits my 2005 Jetta perfectly. I bought it primarily to save the paint job from the strong sunlight that ruins so many factory paint jobs here. After the clear coat degrades and flakes off from sun exposure, the color coat is next. I used to paint cars for a living and I'm well aware of the fact that the best paint job your car will ever have is the one it left the factory with. So it is my goal to preserve this original paint as close as possible to new condition (it's near perfect now). This cover was the most cost efficient way to do that. If you buy one, remember to take it off before a windstorm, the buffeting will wear the paint off the edges. All in all, I'm very pleased with this cover. Read more
