This is a fabulous pot! It's high quality without the super steep price, even though it's still more expensive than many other stainless steel pots. The quality is the reason for the price! The handles are so strong yet comfortable, and they do not get extra hot, even after a large pot of chili is simmering for 45 minutes. The stainless steel is thick and cleans up so easily. I love that the lid has a steam vent too ... a must for this home cook :) I am oh, so happy with my purchase of this 8 quart soup pot by KEAWELL. Very happy customer!! Read more

I was offered this and thought I'd give it a try given I love to cook. I already have a complete set of stainless cookware and a set of non-stick so this will just be added to my sets. First, I was impressed that it looks exactly like the picture. I appreciated that it also has some heft to it even though it's only 2 qts (which is a good medium size for everyday use - especially for something small or when cooking for just one or two people). I also was intrigued by the flared lip - the way it's done here is unusual. The handle has a nice circumference so it's comfortable to grip and pick up (and definitely has some design ergonomics applied). I also appreciated that it is labeled for use with a variety of cooktops so you can keep it even when you end up with something new (gas vs electric vs induction) - and that it's oven safe to 600 which is really great. The lid was a nice weight and fit the pot well although note that the lid is not oven safe. I haven't used it yet so am unsure about heat distribution but was happy to see that it's dishwasher safe. I was surprised that at this price point it doesn't have a spout to one side or the other like my existing stainless set does. But overall I'd say it's pretty great and a definite recommend.
