I bought these boots specifically for snow and ice and I think they're gonna be perfect! I'm super happy with their warmth, quality and durability! I think the soles are gonna do great in icy conditions and I know they're gonna keep me warm! I ordered my standard size and have plenty of room for wearing thick socks. I don't super love the shearling type flaps at the top of the boot, I'd prefer it just to be leather...more versatile. But for the quality of the shoe and the price it'll do! Over all the boots are strong and good quality. I would buy them again. The outside sole is a bit stiff with great grip, it worked great on icy areas and perfect on snow. They are comfortable for long walks. The inside kept me warm and it’s soft. If you have narrow feet it might be a bit loose around the toes area. I used thick socks and it was perfect for me. From the pictures these shoes looked super cute and like they would be warm and keep your foot dry. Unfortunately for me they were huge. I'm a solid 7.5 and like to get a 8 in boots so I can wear warmer/thicker socks. Even with my thickest sock these were huge. The tongue of this boot is so large/thick/puffy/wide that it wasn't possible for me to lace them up tight enough. I'm not really sure anyone could lace them properly without the tongue puffing out maybe if you have extremely large calves or ankles this would be a helpful feature. For me it was not. I do have I feel larger calves I might add (I buy wide calf zip up boots). I return them for a refund. No problems in my return process so nothing bad to say about the seller. Just of the actual fit of the boot was way off. So my review can't attest to them being warm or waterproof. Only to the fit and look of the boot which in my opinion is clunky and not in a good way. These are nice sturdy boots and I'm sure they'd keep your feet warm and help keep you from slipping on ice and snow. Unfortunately I had to return them, as even with heavy socks and an insert inside I was beginning to feel friction or hot spots on the bottoms of my feet in places just walking around the house. I was afraid I might develop blisters from the slightly oversized fit. I am having to move up to 11's from wearing a size 10 though, so if 11 is your normal size you might not have the same problem. Love these boots. I have a boot that is taller and clunkier and wanted something for longer walks. These fit the bill. I wear a 6 1/2 flat and usually size up in a boot, but I got a 6 1/2 and have plenty of room for a heavy sock. I like the wide toe box, I have a bunion on my left foot. I have always had good luck with Keens. These have been great as well. Very comfy! It seems to have a wide toe box for me so I can wear thick warm socks if needed. I ordered my usual size. I have taken many long hikes on a variety of terrain and they have always impressed me. Waterproof to boot! Great with stylish leggings or hiking pants. Fuzzy flaps up or down.
