These boots are hands down the most comfortable work boots that I have found. But there are drawbacks you should be aware of. They are not waterproof in any way. They don't advertise that they are so I don't hold that against them but if your work environment involves being outside you should plan accordingly. I use these as my "daily" boots and I have another pair of leather caterpillars for wet or very cold days. I work on a concrete surface and I've noticed that as these age the sole foam kind of collapses. I usually have to replace the boots about once a year. When I start to notice ankle pain or soreness, I replace them. These go on sale a couple of times a year, it's a smart move to buy a standby pair when they're cheap, often below $100. The same thing that makes them light and comfy does mean they get torn up easily. I work as a mechanic for reefer trailers and after 8 months they have a significant hole somewhere on the shoe. I also want to say I use these outside of work for when my family goes somewhere that involves a lot of walking as these are more comfortable than my other shoes after a couple of hours in them. I love these boots and I will continue to buy them, I just want folks to understand what they're buying. I personally recommend buying the wide Version of your size, the boot almost feels like a sock when it's all laced up and the toe box kinda bows inward and my second toe starts to push over onto my big toe as the boot ages. I noticed the symptoms of this are lessened by buying the wides. Also I love that there is virtually no break in period. These are comfy right out of the box. Read more

I bought these for work (needed safety/composite toe), but so far I've only worn them to music concerts (live band shows). They are light to wear and walk in, yet protective due to their composite safety-toe. I find the insoles comfortable with good support. The outsoles are a bit 'thick-ish' but not to clunky to my taste. However, they are not a thin-soled low-profile safety boot, as you might find among Terra brand footwear (which I have... model: Venom comes to mind). I do like these Keen boots, due to their most-all-black color and their smooth, sleek, classic-sneaker-inspired design. They have smooth finished surface at the back/#eel area, venting on the sides, and mesh at the safety-toe area. A nice combination of decent externall foot protection, yet breathable to help keep the fungus at bay, when worn for long periods of time (such as a full-time day or longer) Read more

Sole will come off. I have many pairs of Keen brand shoes. Have loved them over the years. Bought first pair of this model and fell in love with the comfort. Bought another pair. Then the sole started to come off. Damn! Now the sole on the second pair I'd coming off. Last pair I will buy. Sad this is what $130.00 will get you. Don't buy these. Complete garbage. Read more

The Keen Vista is a safety toed work boot that flexes and breathes for all day comfort. I work as a Union Carpenter and spend all day on my feet whether it's on concrete floors or ladders, climbing onto or under counter tops and tables, these boots have me covered. They have superior breathability so your feet don't sweat and the comfort of the material feels much like a sneaker. The composite safety toe is just as durable as comparable steel toed boots I've owned and hold up just fine to kicking large cabinets and tables into place. I typically get about a year and a half out of a pair before the material starts to tear where my toes flex. That's more than acceptable when considering the daily abuse I put them through. I am on my third pair and will continue to buy them in the future. Read more

I wear a 12 and they fit like a glove. I have a wide foot and chose to get to the regular boots not the wide version. Glad I did. I walk a ton a work. Around dirt and water and they have done great so far. Composite toe is light . Boot is super light. I am in the field swinging jackhammers and getting these dirty and wet. Feels like a sneaker . A very light weight boots for heavy duty work. I walk miles locating Utilities in the field. A must have for those who are required to have a safety toe and walk a lot . One week in them so far . So good. Insole feels good. Not like walking on clouds but much better than what I had. 5 stars !! Read more

Very comfortable. But a piece of the tread starting falling off in the first hour I was wearing them. In the house. Idk if this pair was no good, defective. but I have other Keen products that are fantastic. In fact reordered a pair of them in a different color with the refund. That's why the 3 starts not worse.
