I have to be honest here, when I first came across this dish caddy sponge holder I didn't have much high expectations. I thought this caddy was gonna be one of those cheap flimsy Chinese products that was going rust as soon as water made contact. Well I'm surprised to say that this caddy has held up pretty nicely. The sticky plastic hooks are strong and hold up nicely and has a tight seal. On one note before installing I highly recommend you clean your sink really well especially if you have a stainless steel sink. Before I installed the caddy I washed and scrubbed my sink down with cameo stainless steel powder cleaner. After finishing cleaning my sink I then proceeded to wipe and pat dry my entire sink and sprayed my sink down with "Weiman stainless steel cleaner and polisher". Make sure to wipe any excess polisher off before proceeding to installing the back sticker of the caddy. After all is said and done installation is quick and simple and you'll have a strong bond caddy that won't come off. Great quality caddy for an affordable price, definitely recommend! Read more

For the longest time I’ve been using those plastic sink organizers. I decided that enough was enough though after they started to collect germs (the plastic would change colors). So I looked for a better alternative. After some research, I realized that what I needed was one made out of stainless steel. This is the one that I eventually decided on. Honestly, I cant say enough good things about it. The size is perfect- its not too big but not too small. I can easily fit my sink sponges in along with a couple of dishcloths. My cleaning brush also fits in the front so I don’t have to leave it lying around in the sink. It gives me so much more space to work with when I’m working in the kitchen! I dont have to worry about the sponges and towels getting dirty either since they’re hung to the side. Personally, I use swedish dishcloths - they’re so absorbent but dry super quickly once youre done with them. They also drape perfectly in the front of the caddy. The hanger is also super easy to install. Now that I think about it, install probably isn’t even the right word- it sticks onto the sink like a sticker. There’s an adhesive cover that you peel off at the back. No tools necessary- just use your hands! Took me less than 30 seconds to do. Apparently it can hold up to 15 pounds but i haven’t tested that (who has 15 pounds worth of sponges anyway?). If you ever change your mind about it, you can just peel it off. I haven’t tried that (yet) but I’m guessing that there wouldn’t be any damage to the sink since its just an adhesive. The only drawback is that its kind of shallow (some of the images make it look deeper). So depending on the tools that you have, you might find it difficult to fit some things in. For example, we have a brush that we got from Ikea thats a little too long for the caddy. I can still stick it in but it looks and feels awkward. Read more

Works great. Only issue is the adhesive is difficult to remove. Needed to use goo gone and a blow drier to remove adhesive after being installed for a year. It took about an hour. Read more

I’m really glad that I saw this product recommended by the minimalist mom. It was perfect for me because it is out of sight inside my sink. It does a great job holding my dish cloth,a sponge and the stopper to my sink. It appears well, which was my only concern, and I believe that the price was very reasonable and a value for my money. This product is very good quality. I bought this in Nov 2019, and still going strong. No rusting or pitting and it is used in my kitchen sink every day. We have hard water so I spray a little diluted vinegar on it and the hard water comes off. I have had other stainless steel ones that rust at the joints or connecting pieces, But not this one. The only part that has worn out is the plastic attachment piece. Is there some way I can get new ones?? Highly recommend! Read more

It looks like this is going to be the right thing for me. It was difficult to figure out how to install this item. I would have liked better instructions and/or a video that I could access. Now that I have the item installed in my sink, it appears to be what I need. Unfortunatly I can't remove it to readjust the placement. Be absolutely sure of the placement before you install it. I wonder about removing it as it is on there extremely securely. The size is perfect for me as I didn't want anything big. it holds a sponge, a small magic eraser and a small micro fiber cloth.
