The media could not be loaded. Ive had this sponge holder for a while now, and the adhesive is very well made. It lasted me a whole year, and after that much time, it was difficult to remove because the adhesive is so strong. The holder itself is sturdy, made of great material, and has never rusted. It’s sleek and perfect if you want to keep your sponge hidden. You really can’t go wrong with this product. It’s easy to use, straightforward, and works exactly as intended. The only con is that the adhesive is extremely strong, so removing it later can take some effort. Read more

Update 1-7-26: Having been through a couple of these over the years (mold would eventually get up under the bottom after a year or so.) I just reordered one, and they cheapened the design. The metal part flops around and is lighter than it used to be, and instead of 4 hooks there are now only two. I can no longer recommend this product. I was so tired of always having to restick my suction cup sponge holder, I thought I'd give this a try. It works well, it seems like it's not going to have any problems sticking (follow the directions). It's a good size for normal kitchen sponges. The materials seem to be high quality. The metal part can flip up so you can clean under it (you won't be removing the clear plastic part to clean under, that would wreck the adhesive.) You could remove the metal part if you wished, but it's kind of hard to get in and out so I'm not sure why you would. Edit: it lasted for two years before one of the plastic hooks finally broke. I’m ordering another one immediately! Getting the adhesive off took a razor scraper, it was seriously heavy duty. Read more

Love this thing! Super-easy to "install" (clean and dry the surface, peel and stick, just like it says). Adhesive seems very strong, so I don't think it'll be coming off. The stainless steel "open frame" design doesn't catch food or debris, there's nothing there to get moldy, and the stainless steel should mean it holds up extremely well without rust or discoloration. Might be my imagination, but it seems sponges stay "fresher" longer without getting that icky sponge-smell. (I would attribute it to the "open frame".) I've had the suction-cup style sponge holders in the past. They were ok when they stayed "stuck" however, when they fell off, they were a pain to get back up and STAY PUT! I would definitely order this again. Read more

I purchased the "suction cup" version of this product about a year ago. Generally, I was pleased with its performance, however, about three times during the year of its use the cups would release and I'd have to clean thoroughly and re-attach. About two months ago I decided to see what other products were available and I found the model I purchased had been replaced with one that uses a clear plastic pad with super strong adhesive instead of suction cups. It was easy to install, looks good and is easier to keep clean (fewer grooves and crevasses). And the adhesive is very, very strong . . . you need to heat it with a hair dryer to have the adhesive release if you ever want to remove it. Very glad to find this replacement. Read more

The Frame: no rust after years. The problem is with the Hooks that the frame hooks on to. They break after a while. The new one I ordered and received is BIGGER than the last one I had. If a size is not included in the description, it should be. I just ordered new adhesive pads/Hooks only. Again, a size should be included in each of these products, if it is not already included. Over all: a good product, but really touch to remove that adhesive pad to install the new product. The product I purchased has no suction cups. Read more

I've tried numerous sponge holders for my kitchen sink. Most of them work for a while, but all of them have eventually failed. They are easy to dislodge by accident and then become increasingly difficult to put back up in a stable position. I gave up on them and was about to use a saddle type holder, though I wasn't thrilled with that design. Then I came across this. It uses an adhesive sticker to adhere to the sink and then the holder snaps into that. So far it has held magically in place, and the holder itself is sturdy metal and just the right size. I use a Scrub Daddy, which is 1.5 inches in thickness. This holder is 1.6 inches overall, but the opening is slightly less than the Scrub Daddy. I had to bend it out a bit, which is a little difficult because of the sturdy construction, but with a vise holding one side of it, easily accomplished. Now it fits perfectly, and will still accommodate a narrower sponge like Scotch Brite. Read more

Was a little anxious about the adhesive mount (vs suction cup, which is what I was originally looking for), but it went on so easily and mother-in-law was so happy with the outcome that I never regretted the choice. Rack is sturdy and high quality, adhesive seems to be holding up well after the first couple of weeks. Would recommend to anyone who is tired of dripping sponges on the back of the sink! Update: The adhesive-backed clip plate started to collect mold over time, so I contacted the seller about buying a replacement. Not only did they respond almost immediately, but they offered to send me the replacement free of charge. Now the caddy looks as good as the first day I installed it. That's some pretty amazing customer service! Read more
