I just picked up a Mac Pro on sale and needed a keyboard to go with it (I like keys that sound and feel like the old typewriters). Initially, I was going to buy a Das Keyboard MacTigr but when I saw the price (over $250 ), I could not pull the trigger - it was simply too expensive. I looked around and came upon the Keychron K10. I picked up an open box that was virtually new at a great price (thanks Amazon). Several things immediately struck me about the keyboard. First, there was the construction - top notch and solid - aluminum housing and cherry keys. Second, there was the flexibility. This keyboard can do both wireless and bluetooth (just flip a switch on the side); it can go from Mac to Windows (again, flip another switch and use the key pullers to replace the Mac specific keys with included Windows specific keys). Third, it works well. Turned on the computer and it immediately recognized it - no need to configure it. Fourth, the price is really reasonable for what you get. Compare the Keychron to the alternatives offered by Das Keyboard or Logitech and you will see what I mean. Good purchase. Downsides. I can think of three. First, the cord included with the keyboard is simply too short. - include a longer one. Second, the keyboard is high due to the housing. I bought the accompanying Keychron palm rest and I am glad that I did. Third, I wish that the keyboard had included a couple of USB ports (small point). The keys are a bit mushy (wish that I had bought the Keychron with cherry red switches). Overall, minor complaints. Highly Recommended!!! Read more

Good keyboard, good quality. Feels solid, types well, and works perfectly in both wireless and wired modes. Read more

Bought this for my son for his birthday. I was amazed at how great the quality of this keyboqrd is for the price. The keys are lightning fast and smooth. Great for gaming for him but a little too fast for typing for me. I am a fast typer at around 75 wpm. As this was my first experience with keys this fast, I was amazed that letters were on the screen as soon as the key moved down. I guess I’m old school and used to the letter not appearing on screen until the key is completely pressed in. With a little time I might find this to be better for me but it will take some practice. Back to the gaming, my son said he loves it’s so much better than the Razer keyboard he had before. The keys are really quiet and smooth. It also has a lot of great lighting options. One added bonus is that it comes with a plastic keyboard cover. While I know it was likely more to protect it during shipping, we plan to use it as a dust cover. Read more

Having tried a few mechanical keyboards, this one felt the best and improved my typing accuracy substantially. Having used the Apple Magic Keyboard (with numeric keypad) for some time, and hating it, I wanted a full stroke tactile full width keyboard and after trying a couple of other well known solutions this company was introduced to me by a colleague, I am not interested in gaming and wanted to use it for day to day use, so ease of use and accuracy were of paramount importance. I am using this with a 2020 Apple iMac. The keys are fairly quiet, but give a nice tactile feel (typical of Cherry Brown series keys but slightly softer sound) to the experience where it is easy to feel the operation and improve accuracy. The keyboard has a decent weight and build quality (I had the metal framed version which gives the keyboard some weight and a better quality feel). The keycaps provided are marked in an unusual way with the upper and lower case being side by side rather than vertically, which is confusing. The keycaps are single shot with engraved markings and I am not sure how long they will last. I intend to replace them with better double shot keycaps but this may reduce the effectiveness of the back lights. I purchased the matching wrist rest from the same company which adds substantially to the cost. If you also factor in the need for new better quality keycaps, this is not a cheap solution but I think it is worth it. Pros: 1. Tactile sensation. 2. Nice sound. 3. Build quality (I had the metal framed version). 4. Backlight options. 5. Ease of connection via either BT or USB. Cons: 1. Keycaps are poorly marked. Upper and lower case not obvious. 2. Keycaps are of poor quality (I will be replacing them with newer double shot keycaps which may impede the backlights). Recommended Read more

This is a really nice keyboard. The keys make a low, satisfying sound when struck. The illumination is just bright enough without being dazzling. The construction is quite sturdy. Lastly, having the ability to re-map any or all keys is a game changer. My only con (and it's quite minor) is that I wish it were about 25% larger as I have very large hands. Read more

This is probably the best mechanical keyboard I have used to date. The keys are super responsive, to a degree I wasn't used to. Took me about a day to adjust the feet for slant and a few hours to find the right lighting setting. The manual is not very helpful when it comes to setting colors and/or patterns. The web launcher to remap keys does not work with firefox 141.0.3 64 bit. If you use any of their listed browsers you may have better luck. Tactile feel is nice but the pressure required for a key press is so light if you drag a controller cable across it, it will type the keys. Read more

At first I had a problem with the Windows & Alt key switched. That is, w When I hit Windows, it would do the Alt function and visa versa. I called their tech support on a Saturday night. They responded with an hour. They said to check the left side to be sure I had the switch for Windows and not MAC. That was it! I had it on MAC. Once I switched it to Windows, the keyboard worked fine. I was tired of using all these light cheap $20 keyboards with the rubbery tap. I use the keyboard full time at work. So, I gave myself a treat and bought this KeyChrom K10. This keyboard is fantastic. It is rock solid. The keys have a nice sound and positive stroke. Read more
