Great Lightweight yet Solid mouse. Solid positive click

lttldgnβ€”September 20, 2025

Originally purchased this to replace a Logitech Anywhere 3s that I use for travel. I still love that mouse for the "track on anywhere" feature, but the buttons were much too mushy for my liking. It has now become my main daily mouse over my Keychron M7, and I no longer reach for my Logitech G502 for the occasional gaming session. The M3 Mini 4k Signature Edition simply feels like a higher quality product. Pros: - Lightweight without being too light - Feels solid - Slight coolness of the Magnesium feels nice - Slightly textured feel is a welcome change to either rubberized plastic or glossy plastic - Solid Clicks - the open-back pattern looks great and prevents clammy sweaty palms. I can notice that it feels different, but not in a bad way. - battery is sufficient to last a week with medium to heavy usage - interesting "mini keyboard" 2.4ghz adapter Cons: - Included cord was shorter than I would have liked - USB C charging port may not accommodate other cords with larger or rectangular heads - Price at MSRP seems a little high (although, I would probably still buy it at MSRP now) - 2.5ghz USB adapter is not designed for mobile/laptop use. *Note, to "turn off" the mouse, switch to "wired mode" without connecting a cord to the computer. I plan to use bluetooth while traveling, and to leave the 2.4ghz adapter connected to my desktop. I charge with an alternate USB C cable. Read more

Should have bought sooner

Ashtonβ€”November 6, 2025

I bought an MX master 3s for my MacBook that seriously underperformed. Stuttering, lack of precision, and a general roughness. I ended up returning it, and bought this mouse instead. It works so well, and is easily the best choice for a Mac mouse in my own opinion. Lightweight but still premium, works out of the box, no fuss or hassle. Fits perfectly in my hands or in a bag and the buttons are so responsive. Read more

top-tier performance mouse at a budget price

Scott Nixon Jr.β€”December 2, 2025

This is a top-tier performance mouse at a budget price. I don't game with this mouse. But this is one of the most highly rated mice because it has the PixArt PAW3395 sensor. Which is widely considered one of the best optical sensors on the market, used in expensive competitors like the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 or Razer Viper V2 Pro. I switch between two computers personal and work. And the two receivers of USB-C and USB-A makes this really easy. You can also use it wired with USB-C. I'm not someone that has comfort issues with mice, but do love how lightweight it is. Until I did deep research to find this mouse, I did appreciate the benefits as a the high resolution mouse tracking. With a 650 IPS limit, it is physically impossible for a human hand to move the mouse fast enough to confuse the sensor. Read more

Great Features, but Size Matters

Gregβ€”September 24, 2024

The Keychron M3 Mini Wireless Optical Mouse packs a punch with its solid performance and sleek design. It connects easily and offers smooth tracking, making it great for everyday use. However, the compact size might be a drawback for some users, as it can feel a bit too small for extended comfort. While it’s perfect for portability and fits nicely in a bag, those with larger hands may find it less ergonomic for long periods. Overall, it’s a good choice for those seeking a mini mouse, but size-conscious users should consider fit before purchasing. Read more

Best mouse for Mac

Bretthovenβ€”April 15, 2024

At first, I thought that this mouse feels too cheap & plasticky. Also, the light weight isn't really something I care about (I prefer it slightly more hefty). However. I'm coming from a disappointing experience with Logitech and magic mice on Mac, where I had everything from lag, teleporting cursor, dropouts, stutter and chafing. I tried to figure these problems out for a while, and it turned out that rather than the software side or some heavy CPU use (a maxed out m2 pro mini), it's the mice's subpar bluetooth implementation and below-average sensor hardware that is to blame. I had to get a new mouse, and while we're shopping I thought let's look in the somewhat high specs corner of the product world: gaming. I wanted to find one that has tried and true mac compatibility, state-of-the-art specs, flexible connectivity and no-frills design (no decorative LED stuff that just sucks power), as well as being somewhat on the compact side so it'll travel well when needed. The M3 Mini seemed to hit all those criteria, so I gave it a shot. Suddenly, all of the annoying-me-to-mindlessness lag and stutter was gone and the level of precision as well as smoothness of navigation is something I have *never* experienced in my thirty-something years of computer mice use. It's truly amazing. I use this mouse primarily for general work stuff, as well as some hobbyist audio engineering and video editing. I have a few mac-based games, and they are such a joy to play now. What I thought to be some kind of lag that came from peaking CPU load, has vanished - everything is running absolutely smooth now, simply because a new mouse was needed. Only after I had ordered this mouse, I discovered there is also a slightly less-lightweight metal-version of it. It is true that the only gripes of this mouse is the somewhat cheap feel, that comes from the light weight and the use of very bland plastic surface material. Then again, I have a toddler who loves to steal all things and use them as a popsicle. I suspect this mouse cleans better than something more fancy, so I guess It's a keeper. Some folks are complaining about the slightly grained surface on the mouse's side. In my opinion it feels good and positioned in a reasonable spot where you don't want any slip. Great. One other aspect that I'm missing is that this mouse doesn't have a dual mode scroll wheel. It comes as a step-by-step scroller only, and you can't have it spin freely. Other than that it's pretty much perfect. Read more
