I used this keyboard for a year now, and the only complaint or reason to switch is that I don’t love the translucent finish. If this keyboard was plastic but opaque i think I’d keep rocking it. However, it sounds phenomenal, the quality is great, and I’ve had no issues with it at all. Hot swappability has got to be one of the greatest features, as I’ve switched the switches like 4 times. Great value for the board. Read more

This was honestly better than my razor huntsman’s mini keyboard by far. And didn’t break the bank either. Plus you can switch keys and sounds so amazing the rgb isn’t so strong that if you play fps( I played battlefield 6 and got to lvl120) it not distracting. If you have a family the keys are pretty quiet for some late night games too. Read more

I bought this (Brown Switches) for the office after using mushy membrane keyboards for too long. I thought it would be like most other 'regular' mechanical keyboards but boy, was I wrong. I use a Massdrop ALT with Gateron Browns at home but something about the lubed switches and sound dampening makes this so satisfying to type on! Sure, I could probably lube the switches and add sound dampening to the ALT, but for less than $100 this keyboard already has it all. The keys and entire frame (despite being made of plastic) are very sturdy and I have no hesitation to pound away on this thing. Another huge benefit is the sound, it is satisfying but not loud or annoying to my desk neighbors. Overall an amazing keyboard, and I'm buying another to replace my ALT at home. Read more

I have previously owned the Keychron V1 and V5, and I've been thoroughly satisfied with the V series' key-typing experience. While those keyboards were excellent, their portability was a concern. Recalling my pleasant experience using HHKB, I decided to try the Keychron V2, convinced that a 65% layout would strike the perfect balance. Key Layout and Typing Experience: The 65% layout of the V2 is outstanding. It includes all the essential keys, including cursor keys, arranged in a comfortably compact layout. In terms of key arrangement, I dare say it’s the best I have used so far. One unique feature that stands out is the inclusion of two function keys, which is a boon for someone who demands high functionality from their keyboard. Multilayer Functionality: What truly sets the V2 apart is its capability to use three layers on a Mac, making it feel like there are more functional keys available compared to even 75% or tenkeyless layouts. Despite having fewer physical keys, the virtual keys offer extensive functionality, which is quite fascinating. Ease of Customization: Setting up the V2 was a breeze thanks to the advanced web version of VIA. The entire process was as simple as plugging it in and starting with key assignments. Additionally, Keychron’s Launcher web app was also exceptionally useful for further customization. These features collectively make the V2 a top-notch choice for anyone seeking an easily customizable keyboard. Compactness and Versatility: The compactness and functionality of the V2 are what make it truly exceptional. It doesn’t just save space on my desk but also proves to be highly portable, making it a perfect companion for my on-the-go lifestyle. In conclusion, the Keychron V2 has proved to be the ultimate compact keyboard that excels in functionality and customization. Its well-thought-out design and advanced features make it a fantastic investment for any professional who demands both efficiency and portability. Read more

While the switches aren't gaterons they feel good, play good, worth every bit. Not hollow sounding and very thoccy with the base keycaps (i replaced mine to a preffered anime set). Easy to hotswap the switches and swap caps, worth the money spent Read more

I considered this an entry level keyboard and it works great. The spacebar was extra loud so I put some foam inside and now it is perfect. Love it way more than others I have had. Read more
