This sponge blends foundation well and gives a smooth, even finish without feeling heavy. Wetting it first makes it softer and helps the product go on more naturally. The shape is practical, the flat side covers big areas fast, and the pointed tip gets into smaller spots easily. Feels good to use, looks great, and is a great blender/applicator for makeup and beauty products. Read more
The Keys Soulcare Natural Beauty Makeup Blending Sponge works well to apply liquid foundation. I prefer to wet the sponge prior to applying, which increases the size and softness of the sponge. I rinsed and squeezed the sponge several times before use, as it seemed slick and slightly soapy upon removal from the package. Once the water was free of suds, I applied my makeup and was pleased with the flow and distribution of my foundation. I think using this sponge gave me the best application I've experienced. The product went on so evenly and wasn't heavy in any area. The shape of the sponge is perfect. The flat surface is super convenient for large areas, and the tip is ideal for smoothing gently around the eyes and avoiding caking in the nasolabial folds. Plus, I like the color. It's deep purple and pretty. I'd recommend this sponge to anyone looking for a great applicator/blender to add to their makeup bag. Read more
My vanity is riddled with makeup sponges. There are enough on the market now that I don't feel the need to pay $20+ per sponge anymore, but some are definitely better than others. I was intrigued by the shape of this one though. I like the pointed tip & flat edge, and the fact that the bottom also has a more flattened base than a lot of similar looking styles I've tried. The tip in the listing photos is a lot more pointed than the one I received though. It's a little shorter & more rounded off than I was expecting so I can't be as precise in the corners of my eyes etc. as I'd like to be & I find myself just grabbing a brush to do those spots instead. I don't really use it for any specific highlighting either, more of just all over foundation blending. ' I won't say it's the best I've ever used but it's perfectly adequate, I can get a streak-free finish. Mine came with a few "dents" that don't fill out/disappear even when it's fully plumped & wet (you can see one in my photo if you look a little closer or zoom in). That can be a little annoying because they work almost like a stamp when I'm dispersing/blending product & I have to flip the sponge to a different side to fix that. But they haven't gotten any worse & there's been no other tearing or wear. The sponge cleans up well and doesn't absorb too much product either. Read more

I have never used a sponge to apply my foundation before. I like to feel how I'm applying my make up to get it just right. After using this handy dandy little sponge though I am wondering why I didn't give one a try before now. This is a game changer, it kept almost all the foundation off my hands. (I'm messy to begin with so I didn't expect 100% keeping my hands clean) I'm amazed and very pleased with the application of my make up with this sponge, I only used it for my foundation but I don't think I'll go back to using my hands to apply my foundation. This was my first time using a sponge to apply foundation. I usually use a brush to apply my foundation. I have to be careful because the brush leaves streaks. No streaks when I used this sponge. I was able to blend very well. It did not take a lot of product either to get a finished look. I did not add any other products today. Hours later the foundation was still in place. Love the dark purple color. I will use again and would recommend. Read more
I use beauty blenders to apply my mix of moisturizer and sheer tinted moisturizer on to my skin. This applies it perfectly to give a nice, even finish and its shape makes it easy to blend. Some have been too firm, others too squishy but this one falls in line with those that are the perfect level of firmness. The packaging and color is nice too! Read more

I have used a variety of different makeup sponges from Real Techniques, Beauty Blender, Eco Tools, Morphe, Dose of Colors, etc. I feel like this will likely be my new go-to sponge because it just works perfectly for my daily makeup application. When dry, this sponge is smaller than my Real Techniques sponge but is the same firmness/texture. When dampened, the Keys Soulcare sponge becomes slightly larger and is the same size as a dry Real Techniques one. It has a flat side that makes applying your liquid foundation very easy. The flat side also has a pointy edge, so it blends out concealer underneath my eyes without needing a 2nd mini sponge to do so. I use the bottom round side to apply my liquid blush. The sponge is soft and when wet, blends my face makeup very nicely with no streaks. Like most makeup sponges, it does soak in some of the product; however, applying the product to my face 1st instead of directly onto the sponge helps. I do wish the sponge was a little larger so it would be easier to hold onto. This sponge is in the medium price range, it's pricier than Real Techniques (~$6) but cheaper than a Beauty Blender ($20). On the box, it does state that the company "E.L.F BEAUTY" is their distributor, so I would be curious how this sponge compares to e.l.f's $6 sponges. Read more
