I loved the idea of Kimuse Color-Changing foundation. I have medium olive (sometimes tan) skin and I could never find a foundation match that fit perfectly when I was younger. A color changing foundation was a little thrilling. It took a lot of practice to use this properly. The first time, I applied too much foundation, creating the appearance of unblended sunscreen. I used the thick, firm brush on the opposite end to try and blend it all in and ended up sweeping all of the foundation away. It is winter here and my cheeks are bright red from the cold. My red face actually helps me evaluate the foundation. I want to see the redness covered up but still have a natural finish. I had better luck on my second try with the foundation. I applied a thin layer on my cheeks and blended with a light stippling brush. I added more foundation where it was needed and blended with my fingers. The redness in my cheeks was covered up but my skin still had a pale white cast. I added bronzer and blush to my cheeks and everything looked more natural. The objective, however, was to evaluate the foundation on its own. I took away one star because it still left a white cast on my skin. This color-changing foundation stick just did not work for me. It leaves a white cast on my face no matter how much blending I do. As you can see from my review photo, the color changing particles/beads within the stick are pretty light, so this may work for lighter skin tones. I’m more of a medium/olive, so it did not. It does seem to have a blurring effect though but the coverage is more like a BB cream- definitely not medium to full coverage like it claims. Unfortunately, this product did not meet my expectations. Had it been able to match my skin tone or blend in better and not leave a white cast, I would actually like this product as I don’t like to wear heavy foundations. I think this should definitely be labeled for fair/light skin tones and light coverage as I was unable to build the coverage with this. Read more

I am absolutely amazed by how well this foundation stick works on my skin! I honestly didn't think it was going to work, but it changed from white to my perfect skin tone right away. The coverage is great for hiding redness, yet it still feels lightweight and natural throughout the day. I also love the built-in brush on the other end because it makes blending so easy and mess-free. This has definitely become my new favorite makeup product for a flawless look! Read more

$25.98 in order. $25.98 now. First and foremost this is so heavily perfumed that it has made me nauseous even after washing it off. My hand and arm still reeks as if I I have set up parlor. My stomach is cramping from how strong the scent is. That side, it goes on white and then it does brush out to your skin color. I used both my fingers once and the brush that comes with it once. The brush works really well it blends with the fingers really well also. I've blended it on the back of my moisturized hand on my wrist and on my end moisturized forearm and it looks nice on all three. It is a dewy finish. It would probably look really beautiful underneath a light powder, but even on my arm I can't stand the scent enough to get it anywhere near my face. So for that reason I can't give it a decent try. I don't know why they needed to add so much scent unless it's because of all the dimethicone that's in there. It gets one start for me because the scent is unbearable. Read more
