The black-tanned deerskin leather feels butter soft and looks high quality. There is double-stitching throughout with a layout that avoids putting stiches across the back of the hand where you need stretch or across the palm where you would feel it when gripping things. The gloves are lined with a layer of spun polyester to keep your fingers toasty. This brings some loss of dexterity compared to an unlined driver but much better than a winter mitten or ski gloves. I'm a bit displeased with the shirred cuff. They tend to stand out a bit and get folded over by my coat sleeves (instead of slipping under). I wish they offered an elastic cuff but that's not common for this style of glove. The fit is true to size for a Medium. Initially the fit was noticeably tighter on my right hand; to the point of discomfort. But as I write this review a few days later I find the leather has relaxed a bit in the sun and both hands are now comfortable. Still, I can see by comparing the gloves side by side that the right-hand glove has tighter fingers. Measuring across stiches on the ring finger I get 6/8" (R) and 9/8" (L). See the attached photo for what I mean. Overall I'm a bit displeased with the variation in fit between each hand. Combined with the cuffs I'm inclined to return these and keep looking for my ideal every day driver. But I'm rather picky about gloves. I expect many would be pleased with these. And the price is excellent compared to what you would pay at a menswear or sportswear store for something of comparable quality. Read more

Keeps the fingers warm. Read more
Yes, they were stapled together, as one reviewer complained. It was of no significance. They are very well made and show no signs of wear after a month of pleasurably warming my hands in a Vermont winter. My work gloves are also rock solid after more than a year of handling firewood and shoveling snow. They are tough and well stitched. I now know what brand to ask for when I want top quality. A recent cold weather snap in the Anchorage area has found me wearing these nice black gloves. If I'm working outside, the liners in these are good down to -30 deg F. This from a 60-year old man that enjoys warm hands and feet. :) Read more
Feels like quality, I measured my hands according to the providing chart, and they were too small, no I have to pay to return the gloves. Read more
