I will preface this by saying I have no experience with using kinesiology tape, and no preconceived notions of what it's supposed to do. My experience is with braces. It will stick on well. I had no issues with it peeling up at any point. In fact, if you do wear it for a full 7 days, plan to exfoliate your skin after removal to get the remaining glue off from the edges where the lint gets stuck (you know, like on bandages). The normal washing with a washcloth routine won't suffice to get it off. However I'm sure this is a minor inconvenience. My experience was that it provided some minor level support. You will still need a brace if you really need to limit your range of motion. However it does help to feel a bit more stable like if you were wearing a compression brace. I found the instructions very helpful. I used it on my knee instead of my shoulder since that's where I need bracing, and it seemed to help a bit with that without limiting my range of motion. I don't think it provides much pain relief. Maybe a bit of superficial pain relief, but if you use your joint in a manner that triggers pain, you'll still feel it. I'm not sure I'm sold on this personally - I will still resort to using a brace. If anything, having the tape there may help to send a reminder to be mindful with that joint, and that may be all you need. I'll give it 4 stars because it did remain stuck on and was stretchy and the instructions provided were sufficient to apply it as specified. As for the effectiveness on it, maybe it's more effective for minor strains or the tail-end of a healing process as part of physical therapy. Read more

Not a good product. Dosen't stick and not long enough. Have to review product before you get shoulder instructions. Now I know why. Read more
Worked great! Stuck to me all day even in the heat! Great value for the money and love that they can easy tuck into my bag for travel! I was surprised how durable they were but still felt like I was wearing nothing! Read more

I'm a fan of k-tape and have primarily used it on my knees and upper back. I got this tape for my upper back and shoulders, and was happily surprised to see that it can be used for my knees as well. I love having pre-cut ones on hand, and these are cut well and fairly easy to apply, though I need help getting them on my back (no problem applying them to my knees). For those new to K-tape, the rounded corners help prevent against peeling. The ones I tried stuck on well, but I've found it's helpful to first wipe my skin with alcohol to remove any lotion, sweat, and/or oil, and to press and rub for at least a minute to help the tape stick better. I can't speak to the 7 days, because I typically only use it for 1-2 days at most, before removing. I also won't speak to efficacy, because it might be different for everyone, and while K-tape seems to help me a lot, I'm aware the research on it is all over the map, and for all I know, it's a placebo effect. But as K-tapes go, this is a decent product and it's worked well for me. I got the nude version, which is currently less than 2/3 the price of the other colors; at ~$30 for 10 pieces of tape, the other colors seem overpriced for what they are. Read more
