holds my canopy well, i put the metal inside my bed frame to keep it more stable. im putting another canopy over top the lace one & im sure it will hold well. i did use electrical tape to secure the joints better, just extra precautions. Read more

Not very sturdy. Broke in one day. Would not recommend for a child. The poles bend easily and are sharp when they break. I had sheer curtains on it, not heavy at all and the slightest tug to open/close the curtains brought the whole thing tumbling down. This was a birthday present for a 9 year old. I guess I should have done more research on the quality of the product but I assumed it could handle the weight of a sheet fabric. I even reinforced the base and it still was very unstable. I thought something at this high of a price point would last at least a week! Pretty disappointed. Read more
This canopy frame seems a bit flimsy, but as long as you're not regularly bumping into it, I wouldn't be worried. I have a heavy canopy fabric on top of mine and it hasn't budged, I've had mine for 8 months now. I'd definitely pin the feet down with your bedframe for extra support. Read more

Had i realized I was paying $70 for just cheap poles I wouldn't have bought this tbh. I thought it was a bed frame. Most the poles were fine but some were bent. If you're looking for just poles though then it's a good product but just so overpriced for what it is. Read more
Get the metal one I absolutely love it I zip tied it in places because I move my bed around alot and it makes it more sturdy, I used curtains and then for the very top I used a bed skirt with a few clear 2 inch clamps to hold everything in place Read more
