UPDATE after 3 years!. Through frigid -20F winters in a boat shed, and hot summers with constant exposure to rain and sun, this fabric really holds up and it has been super for boat-seat repairs. Even exposed continually to the weather the patches all still look great with no delamination or loss of adhesion. ------------------------ This goes on easily, but only time will tell how it holds up over the years. I applied this beige (off-white) and another patch material (navy blue from another seller) on our boat seats and both did a good job. Compared to the holes and torn-out seams, it looks much better. Unfortunately, the beige is a little brighter than we judged from the website images, so it appears as a rather bright white in contrast to the existing vinyl. But we expect in a few weeks that as it ages and gets some dirt on it, the color might blend in a bit better. It is not that easy to pull up the material from the old vinyl for repositioning if that is needed, but it can be done. But the fact that repositioning can be done with a little effort suggests that the patch material may not hold down well forever, but best to actually see how that goes. I will try to provide an update in a year or so with images to show how well it is holding down. Our boat seats go through a fair amount of sun and rain exposure, and in winter storage they see some extreme cold weather, so it will be a pretty rigorous test. Read more

I ordered this to use as a fix for my seat on my 2017 Ford Transit Connect van. The leather on the edge of the seat had a hole and I wanted to make sure it did not get any worse. I cut this product to the size I needed and laid it down on the seat. The adhesive is great and the color matched pretty good. I have not had any issues with the durability of this product after it has been on the seat. It holds its color and the adhesive is amazing. Highly recommend for any leather fixes you may need to make. Read more

I got this to repair the peeling faux leather on my Secretlab Titan 2020 chair, which had taken a beating thanks to my cat’s constant climbing. Functionally the chair was still fine, but the backrest looked worn down and messy. I didn’t want to replace the whole chair just for appearances, so I gave this a try. Glad I did. The material is thin enough to blend in but not flimsy. I cut custom strips to fit the damage, pressed it down carefully, and the result looked significantly cleaner—especially from a distance. If you’re within a foot or two, you’ll notice a difference in texture, but nothing major. No peeling, no fraying at the edges, and it’s held up after weeks of use. I didn’t reupholster or overthink it—just cleaned the surface, stuck it on, and moved on. Pro tip: line it up carefully before sticking it down. It’s very adhesive and not easy to reposition, which is a good thing—just don’t rush. This patch made my chair look good enough to keep using without feeling like I’m sitting on a scratched-up mess. Great for extending the life of any leather-style furniture that still works but looks rough. Read more

Much better than my previous attempt at leather repair. Large roll, very sticky, easy to repair large tears. Pebbled texture not smooth so be aware of that. You get a lot of roll for the money so a good value. Very functional for leather repairs. Read more

Bought gray to cover the compartment between front seats of my car. Color match's and adheres we'll. Not a professional job by any means but it looks better than the original cracked console cover. Read more

Review edit: I am changing my rating because the seller reached out to me to offer a full refund. I wanted leather. The website said this was leather. I bought it because it didn't say fake or imitation or wannabe leather. It said leather. Guess what folks. It's not leather. It's PU leather and it says so right on the box in very small type so you could easily miss it but that's the idea. So what is PU leather? It's a synthetic petrochemical material, made by coating a fabric or split-leather base with a layer of polyurethane. Read more

I bought this to repair an office chair that was peeling its original faux leather. For some reason it was peeling on the headrest. Other areas are starting to wear as well so this roll should come in handy for those repairs down the road. As you can see from the picture, the repair turned out really well. I did cut the sheet to fit in between the stitches and also to length. I did use a ruler and speed square to make straight lines along with a utility knife. The grain on the patch is fairly typical of leather or faux leather products. I tried to take an up close pic so you can see the texture/grain. It is fairly supple -- not glove leather but not plastic hard vinyl . It is fairly thick. This goes on like a large sticker. The adhesion is very strong so try to get it right the first time. I peeled a little on the end to set it then went little by little making sure it was going on straight. Overall, great product that looks nice and brought some life back to an otherwise good chair. I was taking an 50-year-old seat cover off of the original rotted seat frame, and was going to put it on a better frame. In the process of removing the cover, the seam ripped in two areas. I purchased this repair tape to cover the ripped areas, so they wouldn't rip further during re-installation. It worked great! I installed the repaired seat skin onto the new frame and the patches held up great... the seams stayed intact, and the color (black) is a great match. I'm very pleased! Read more
