This faucet is much more attractive in person. It was easy to install (can't say that about Moen faucet I had to remove %&^$!). Basically, screw it on and connect the hoses. The only thing I did not like is the plastic piece under the deck plate. Usually, that's foam or rubber or something that makes a waterproof seal. Plastic doesn't cut it, so I had to use caulk. I would normally want to use plumber's putty, but the putty container said not to use with plastic. For the water lines, I used teflon tape. So far, so good. No leaks, and the faucet looks beautiful. I am a very deliberate and analytical shopper but I knew this was the right faucet for my sink the second I saw it. I particularly liked that it had the modern tall spout but that was moderate in height, combined with more old-fashioned-looking handles. It was the right choice; it looks great. My only complaint is that the aerator has numbers engraved on it that are visible. They detract from the clean look a bit. Read more

I purchased two of these faucets (oil rubbed bronze) for my new home, based on my positive prior experience with the brand. I'd had oil rubbed bronze faucets before (different brand) and knew that the finish on the handles could wear down over time, so I bought this faucet specifically for the white ceramic handles, which I'd hoped would hold up better. All was well for a while, but over time the quality issues began to show. The handles come unscrewed on a regular basis - they don't fit well. One of the faucets developed an issue with the finish eroding, and when I filed a warranty claim, at the suggestion of my plumber, the company told me that this finish is not covered because it's a "living finish." (The manufacturer of my other bronze faucets replaced them when the finish started eroding - no arguments.) Because this only happened in one specific spot on one of the faucets, it seems more like a defect than natural wear. Anyway - I used to be a huge fan of this brand for offering good quality and nice designs at affordable prices, but after this experience, I'm resigning from the fan club. Read more

This is a good looking faucet I upgraded from a cheaper builder grade brass faucet with a very low spout. This Kingston model works well and there are similar modes with all oil bronze handles instead of the porcelain. My wife and I like the way the spout is much higher than cheap faucets which are harder to get your hands under. My negative comments are regarding the poor quality instructions that come with the faucet. Shame on the manufacturer for not updating the instructions when they updated the faucet. The faucet came with two large rubber washers that appear to eliminate the need for plumbers putty. Unfortunately they were not shown anywhere on the instructions. Plumbers putty along with silicone sealant is shown on the instructions in an unlabeled picture, presumably showing all required tools. Neither is referenced again in the instructions. The instructions fail to identify all of the parts in the kit by name. So one can't be sure if everything is there. Instructions talk about doing something with a part name without clearly identifying what that part is. In short, they wrote instructions for a plumber who will not read the instructions instead of a homeowner replacing a faucet who may never have replaced a faucet before. That said, after I installed one, I ordered two more because they were a good value. Read more

After painting my bathroom the old faucets looked pretty shabby so I ordered these. They arrived on time and look exactly like the photo. The gold is a bright shiny gold, exactly what I wanted. The one piece unit was easy to install once I got the TEKTON 11 Inch Basin Wrench (3/8-1 in.) ! They went in easy, and they look great. I added the HUANGXIN Toilet Paper Holder Stand Bathroom Tissue Roll Holder in gold to complete the look. My formerly funky bathroom has a whole new vibe. Read more

An absolutely lovely faucet. I'm just so sorry the tub ensemble didn't fit my plumbing. My only disappointment is that I didn't get this faucet in the gold brass with the white porcelain handles. It makes the morning shave a most pleasant experience. Read more
