This faucet was perfect for my bath remodel. The right look and the right price. The quality is much better than I hoped. I originally bought the bigger version of this model but it turned out to be too big for my sink. No problem, I returned it and got this version. Perfect. The directions were clear and I had everything installed in just a few minutes. Of course, I've done this before so that probably helped too. ;) Anyway, I'm loving this set in my new bathroom. Let me start out by saying that I do not often complain about customer service ! I was in the industry for many years. Please note as stated by other reviews that it is a very small unit. Even on our 24 " sink top. After being installed there was a leak. We could not determine why it was leaking. We had a make a $100.00 service call to a plumber. Plumber let us know that it was a defective part that came from the factory like that. It was molded together instead of being to pieces. understanding that things like this happen at no ones fault. I contact customer service at Kingston Brass and was directed to call and then email technical support. They wanted a photo of the defective part. I explained that i had to call a plumber and was without a sink !!! i understand that a defective sometimes happens, however being the company should at least say they were sorry for the inconvenience . I didn't ask for reimbursement for the plumber , all i wanted was my part for the sink. The gentleman was short and rather rude. he stated send a photo of the part. I had to email him back to ask how long before we heard something back. He stated 2 to 3 days. I never heard anything and over a week went by. At this point I am upset at the lack of communication. Poor customer service for a defective part. I emailed him and told him i had not heard anything back and if there was no resolve I would just write a review on Amazon. Well, that got a quick response. He emailed me back stating that the part was mailed a week ago and when it should arrive. He went on to reply in his email he did everything he was suppose to do and he didn't like me to threaten him with a Amazon review. Here I am stating this was the worse customer service I have had in a long time. I was never informed that the part was mailed. This process took almost 12-14 days that we were out of a sink. NEVER a I am SORRY or any communication from the company. I will never buy their product again due to the customer service I received. I have saved those nasty email as proof the company needs better service reps. Read more

This faucet has a beautiful finish and a nice heft. However, the escutcheons were WAY too small to fit over the pre-existing holes on my sink counter. I had a pretty standard faucet set from Kohler and the Kingston Brass set was about 25% smaller in diameter. The set is having to go back which is a real shame because the look and quality of the item are quite impressive. I think that maybe somebody more familiar with plumbing jargon than me would have probably known the escutcheon would have been too small just by looking at it. Anyhow, I am going to buy the set they offer with bigger escutcheons. Read more

I needed a faucet to match the period look in my old house. I like the ceramic handles with the "H" and "C" markings. The escutcheons barely covered the counter top holes. I am not sure I could have successfully done this on an installed vanity. That took some effort to get them just right. The braided hoses that connect the valves to the spout did not like the severe bend necessary to connect them and are a bit pinched. But that does not seem to affect water flow. I found it strange that the handles turn in opposite directions. In short, I would buy this faucet again. Read more

One faucet on an older Kingston lavatory set had seized up, and I bought a new one. A little disappointed to not get more than twenty years or so out of the original. Acidic water might have been the cause. Read more

We paid good money for this faucet with its 10 year warranty. It didn’t last two years and that’s a seasonal cottage. We replaced it with a big box faucet. I reached out to them weeks ago and they finally get back to me today and tell me that Only the handle will be replaced. Initially, the set screw never tightened correctly, but this spring the cartridge also went. I can’t believe how many times we’ve worked on this stupid faucet. Garbage. Read more

It is exactly what I expected, however the problem we had with it "after" it was installed and working perfectly fine for 4 days was NOT expected!!! It was installed on a Wednesday and late Saturday, well actually Sunday 12:15 a.m. after coming home from being out for the day and evening, we came home to running water dispersing from the faucet, full force yep, the left handle was on and could NOT BE SHUT OFF!!! OMG right? My husband had to go downstairs and shut off the main water supply. The next day he took it all out and apart, only to find nothing wrong with it! He said there was NO reasonable explanation as to why this even happened!!! He knows all about this stuff, he has installed many faucets in his lifetime. Made no sense other then possibly something was just a tad out of place from when it was put together at the factory from where it came. He put it all back together, installed again and it has been working just fine since. It has been about a month now. The left handle does however keep coming a little bit loose. We have tightened it 3x's now but it does not last. No biggie, it is just that way. Right faucet stays tight, left one does not. Love the way it looks, and thankful that my husband was able to correct the problem, otherwise it would have been returned! Read more
