Does "Most" of what it's supposed to do well. Only flaw I find is when I try to hit the buttons for Power On/Off, and my choices of the size of cup it is not very responsive. Almost always I have to hit them multiple times until it finally registers. Fairly frustrating , but not a deal breaker ; for me. You may choose to find another machine. Read more

This coffee maker works like a charm! It really did meet, if not exceed, my expectations! Everything about this coffee maker is great. The quality of the material it's constructed out of is very solid and high quality. The design is very thoughtful and the parts seamlessly fit together. At first I thought I got a faulty product because all of the water leaked out from the initial fill-up. However, it was because of a little red rubber stopper not being remove before installing the water tank. After I took out the stopper, it never leaked again! I am thankful the leak did not damage it. The inserts are very easy to use and clean. I love the freedom I have with the refillable insert! It's so simple to fill and I don't ever feel like I'm putting too much for any of the servings sizes. It's still a pretty large chamber, but not so large that your coffee will be too concentrated. When it comes to selecting your coffee size in ounces, I was definitely confused at first. But it turns out to be super easy to select your water amount. While there's several lights and oz sizes shown on the panel, only the 3 bottom touchscreen buttons work to help you make your selection. There are only 3 buttons. The first is to turn it on, the second is to select the size, and the third is to start the process. The machine accurately dispenses the correct amount of water each time as well. The bottom component is also so handy at helping keep your countertop clean because it catches any residual liquid that might drop after you pull your cup out. For the most part, there's no drip, but this provides a lot of peace of mind when it comes to keeping my kitchen tidy. I like how sleek it is as well. It can fit in so many places and still not take up to much space. It has a pretty average speed, which is great because I feel like my coffee grounds are getting the most use with this machine as it's saturating all the grounds evenly and effectively. Overall, having this as my primary coffee machine has been a great experience. I fully expect this machine to last for a long time to come. I would absolutely recommend anyone to buy it as it's certainly worth the money. I have nothing negative to say about it. Read more

I ordered this single-serve coffee maker because I have tried several other Kismile machines and each of them has been a home run in this house. I long ago got rid of our Keurig as I moved on to my preferences of my home espresso maker, burr grinder, and pour overs, but kept an all-in-one coffee maker with a burr grinder for the coffee heathens in the house and company who are less picky about their coffee drinking. After a bit more than a year of everyday use, it finally quit leaving them with only a small 4-cup coffee brewer, which was too small for all of them to get their coffee, but too big to be fast enough to brew coffee quickly while running out the door. This Kismile Single-Serve is the best of both worlds. First, it is small and takes up very little space. It holds enough water for 2 to 3 cups of coffee (10 to 12 oz) and is incredibly easy to operate. The coffee pod can be adjusted for how strong you like your coffee and is easy to fill and empty (although you do have to scrape your coffee grounds out and rinse it) -- and it makes a great cup. There is a K-Cup insert that works perfectly for times you may need even more convenience. The size is adjustable from 8 to 14 oz and is accurate. Best of all, the coffee actually tastes great out of it -- I have made several cups in the early evening with my burr ground fresh coffee when I don't feel like the hassle of a pour over, and have been surprise at how tasty it is. My only complaint is that my favorite 20-oz stainless steel cup doesn't fit directly underneath it -- however, nearly every other cup does. I absolutely love this coffee maker! It’s super sleek with it’s touchscreen-like feel, works with both k-cups and ground coffee. it comes with a resuseable coffee grounds pod and the k-cup pod holder. This brews so quickly that I can barely have time to add my cocoa and sugar to the mug before it’s done brewing. I make at home mochas fo less than 1/10th of a coffee shop price like Starbucks or Caribou coffee shop that costs me $30 for 2 XL caramel high rises with extra caramel and skim milk! I can use 2 pods, line my cup with caramel sauce and then whipped cream. I use a large measuring cup to brew into as I have a 40oz tumbler and that doesn’t fit in the machine and when I’m home I just use one of the Hershey’s mugs from the christmas aisle at a big box store. I drink 2 of them a day. (They hold 24oz with some room left for the add-ins you wish to use). I love how super easy the directions are and the fact that it has a cleaning cycle. All you do is do a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water and press clean and it does the rest for you! (make sure you run 3 water tanks of water to get all the vinegar and gunk out. Read more
