Bristles are firm and there are enough of them to clean old soap scum off of my shower walls. I just wet the walls, put the brush in my drill and cleaned the walls with the first pass. I also use the brush with a carpet cleaner and powered out an old carpet stain, so it did just what it promised and clean up was as simple as placing the brush head under a running faucet. Read more
