I should've bought one sooner

M DNovember 12, 2025

I love this thing. I sometimes struggle with food texture, so I love using this to blend out soups or sauces that are vegetable-heavy. It's also very useful for hot chocolate and even protein shakes. It's very easy to clean, too, so long as you clean it immediately after use; just fill a cup with soapy water, press the power button for a few seconds, and it's squeaky clean. Dried food would probably be harder to clean off of it though. I have only had it for a few months so I cannot speak to its longevity, but so far I have had no issues. It's very easy to use, as well. There is only one button to push. When you push the button, it spins. The amount of pressure you put on the button determines blend speed. Overall this is a great immersion blender and I really wish I had purchased one sooner. Read more

Excellent Blender!

James FrostAugust 12, 2024

I bought this specifically to make mayonnaise and it works very well. I'm learning to make a lot more considering the toxic ingredients you find in most foods and the secret to living well is making your own food at home. This immersion blender worked like a charm and very quickly made an excellent mayonnaise with perfect texture and taste. I then made my own pasta sauce from scratch it the blender worked very well for that, too. I chose a corded blender because I did not want to compromise on power and also I didn't need one more effing thing to charge. I was right- it's powerful and I don't see any need for cordless. The only two things that are champagne problems are cleaning it by hand is a little difficult (getting into that small space by the blade). I used a toothbrush. (Don't worry, it wasn't mine.). And secondly it's a little loud, but I am extremely sensitive to noise (I'm autistic) but I use a headset so that's not a big deal. Overall I highly recommend this blender because it works very well and I can finally make mayonnaise and other stuff so I can stop paying a lot of money for toxic food and just make it myself! The media could not be loaded. This is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. I use it for everything from smoothies, soups and even cocktails. It’s easier to clean than a blender so it just stays on my counter. It’s portable so I've taken this thing everywhere, it never disappoints, kitchen aid just makes durable products, you get value for your money. I’ve been using it for over 2 years and it still perform as if it’s brand new. Plus look how cute it is. And it’s the perfect size for easy storage. Read more

It Might Be Too Big For Your Planned Use

Steven E. WilliamsonJanuary 18, 2025

I was planning on using this mainly to mix drinks in cups and mugs, but on receiving it, found the blade guard is to wide to fit in any standard 12 oz glasses, about 2.5 inches wide, will only fit in my largest coffee mugs. Plus it is probably too powerful to be mixing drinks in 12 oz glasses, and it is very hard to pull the trigger for a slow spin, the trigger has a high initial pull resistance, then goes light as you pull it much farther than you intended for low power, so is difficult to actually use a low speed. So this is really more for blending things while cooking or blending larger amounts of smoothies in a large mixing container, I've ended up having to get a "frother", smaller for mixing things in cup you will actually drink out of. It's better than the one I replaced.

TeaJuly 7, 2024

It's better than the one I replaced. I had another KitchenAid hand blender for years, but it died. We use it every morning for blended beverages and frothing. The first one came with a lot of parts and attachments. This one does not work with those! I was hoping it would, but it does not. I do love the button on this one better; the other one wore out quickly and left a lot of the internal workings exposed. I also like how the speed is adjustable by pressure on the button. The last one had the speed adjustment dial on the top, and once the markings wore off, it was hard to know how someone had it set, and we would have accidental adjustment changes that led to minor blending disasters. I love the color. I am thrilled with how well it blends. Read more

Works great!

UPDATE: Amazon is awesome, and I was able to receive a new blender the very next day. I LOVE this blender. It works way better than I thought, and it’s just one of those things that you didn’t know you needed until you have it. Old review: As soon as I saw the box I knew this item wasn’t NEW, because the box was Re-sealed with tape. Even then I wanted to give the company grace, and I thought to myself that if the product looked fine I would keep it - even when I think it’s unethical to sell under new, when it has clearly been used. When I opened it I noticed that the pan guard was missing, as well as the lid for the plastic container. Very disappointing. I know this is how things are nowadays, but I didn’t expect this from KitchenAid. Read more
