As someone with 2a/2b wavy hair with lots of frizz, this is the first product I have ever used that gave me more defined waves without having to crunch or use a diffuser-and with little to no frizz. I literally washed, sprayed my regular leave-in conditioner, applied a bit of this product, and combed through. The pics is after it being fully air-dried. The best part is it doesnt leave any residue or cause flakes like other products do. Absolutely works and is wonderful for wavy hair. I will have to try it in more humid weather, but will be my go-to for winter months!! Read more

I tried this smoothing air dry cream on my thick, long hair and had mixed results. The bottle itself is nice quality and easy to use. It is about eight inches long, squeezes easily, and the textured lid is simple to grip and unscrew even with damp hands. A little goes a long way. I used about two penny sized amounts to cover my full length, which is far less than I would normally use with a leave in conditioner. If your hair is shorter or thinner, you would need much less. What I noticed right away is that it encouraged my natural texture. My hair leans more straight and wavy than true curls, but this cream helped it dry with more wave and light definition without adding greasiness. From that standpoint, it does enhance natural movement and could be helpful for people trying to bring out waves or curls while air drying. Where it fell short for me was how my hair felt once dry. While there was no oiliness at all, it left a slightly tacky feel, similar to a light hairspray. I was hoping the castor oil and coconut oil would add more softness and moisturizing benefits, especially since my hair tends toward dryness, but it actually felt less soft than when I skip styling products altogether. The scent is described as sugared amber. I did notice the sweetness, but it was not a warm or cozy scent to me. My daughter and husband did not mind it, though, so scent preference will be personal. Overall, the product may work better for other hair types, especially those wanting texture hold, but it was not the right fit for my hair. Read more

Love this product! I tried everything to stop frizz on my hair and this was the ONLY thing that would work. This is great for women over 50 as well. I've noticed as I have gotten older my hair type/texture has changed. Read more

When I first tried this, I honestly didn’t know a product like this even existed. I rarely blow dry my hair anymore, but when I let it air dry naturally it usually turns frizzy and poofy, so I end up throwing it up or waiting until I can use hot tools - which I really try to avoid. This morning after my shower, I applied a small amount of this cream to damp hair and headed out to a doctor’s appointment, expecting the usual frizz situation when I got home. To my surprise, my hair wasn’t just frizz-free - it genuinely looked like I had styled it! My hair dried smoother, shinier, and more polished than it ever does on its own, without feeling weighed down or greasy. I’ve tried just about everything in the past, from leave-in conditioners to various oils, including argan, jojoba, castor, coconut, and dedicated anti-frizz products, but they usually either flatten my hair or make it look oily. This cream somehow manages to smooth frizz, add shine, and make my hair look hydrated, thicker, and healthier while still feeling incredibly lightweight. The texture is soft and creamy, spreads easily through damp hair, and absorbs quickly without leaving any residue. Once dry, my hair felt noticeably softer and more touchable, with a natural finish that didn’t feel sticky or coated. It enhanced my natural texture in a way that looked effortless rather than overly styled, which is exactly what I want from an air-dry product. The only downside for me is the scent. I was genuinely excited about the “Sugared Amber” description, especially since I’ve always been curious about this brand’s hair perfumes, but unfortunately the fragrance didn’t match my expectations. To my nose, it smells more like a generic lotion scent rather than something warm or sweet, and it initially read as unpleasant to me. The good news is that the scent doesn’t project and faded once my hair dried, so it wasn’t overpowering - but it didn’t smell luxe or “good-good” the way I hoped it would. Overall, the performance of this cream completely won me over. It delivers impressive frizz control, adds shine, keeps hair soft, and makes air-dried hair look intentionally styled without heat. If the scent were improved to match the results, this would be an absolute favorite - but even as is, it’s a standout product for anyone who wants smooth, polished hair without blow-drying or hot tools. I have somewhat curly hair that frizzes in humidity. This product did nothing for the frizz and did not leave my hair soft. It felt like there was gel in it when it dried. My hair didnt look better air dried using the product. Read more
