This Baby Play Gym Mat is soft, cute, and my baby enjoys exploring all five Montessori-inspired developmental zones. It is very easy to set up. Assembly takes just a couple of minutes with no tools needed, and attaching the five detachable toys is simple. The mat supports functionality at every stage of development. It encourages visual focus for newborns, muscle strengthening for 3β6 months, and interactive play for older infants. It is spacious and safe, with thick cushioning, a non-slip bottom, and a sturdy wooden frame. The foldable design allows for easy storage or travel, and the fabrics are machine washable for quick and convenient cleaning. Read more

If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. You see a lot of Vine reviews that are cookie cutter and based on templates. I aim to make my reviews honest and non-cookie cutter (other than this intro and disclaimer). * These items are not actually free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. Therefore, I will never order something from Vine unless I actually intend to use it. I think this is important for readers to understand because it means I will never order an item just to provide a fake five star review to a company. If I review something as good, it means I actually enjoyed using it or it fills its intended purpose correctly. Items that don't meet my expectations will be reviewed accordingly. Why I ordered this item: My kid isn't a baby any more, but we regularly have my brother's kids over to play and he has two babies (one and two). I ordered this so his kids have a toy to play with when they are here. We had a lower-end version of this type of toy when our kid was young and she loved it. Likes: * This is a HUGE upgrade from the lower-end version that we previously owned. The materials are all much better. The frame is wood instead of plastic, the fabric is softer, the mat is larger and the toys are more interesting. * The size on this is massive compared to the one we used to have. I think ours was something like 30" x 30" and this is over four feet squared. * The removable cover is absolutely awesome. It's like a pillow fort without them brutalizing my pillows and blankets. No likes: * It's expensive compared to other similar options. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes, and I will tell you why below. Final thoughts: I am a firm believer in paying more for something that is higher quality, and this is the nicest one of these baby mats I have ever seen. We did a lot of plastic toys for my kid when she was young, but we are hoping to help my brother avoid that for his kids. The wooden frame really feels different compared to the plastic one I bought on Amazon all those years ago. This is worth every penny. Read more

This baby play gym mat is very well made and comes with so many things that grow with you baby. I was pleasantly surprised with the materials. The frame is a nice engineered wood that is rounded and smoothed. The plushes are all soft and well stitched together. The mat itself is very soft and appropriately sized for the baby gym. I love that it also comes with a cover to turn it into a tent when your baby becomes a toddler. You don't have to put it away and they can keep playing with it when they grow up. The price is a little high, but you get so much quality for the product that it's really not that expensive for what you're getting. Plus, it goes on sale every now and then, so it's really not that expensive. In terms of installing, it's not difficult to take off the mat and toss it into the washing machine. Read more

This Kizfarm Baby Play Gym Mat is so well made. The wood is soft, but thick. The toys are so fun, but also provide developmental activities like grabbing, squeaking, rattling etc. The toys velcro so they can be moved to different locations like hanging or attached directly to the mat. The mat itself is larger than I excepted. The different zones are perfect for teaching little ones things like texture or colors. I've never seen a mat that has a place for cards that you can switch out that show images like a fish. Being able to provide shade while outside or make it into a tent is an added bonus. It's relatively easy to put together, you don't need any tools. Although, I found the top T peice hard to snap the arms into. It took a couple tries to figure it out. I'd definitely recommend this as a gift. Or to a caregiver that is interested in Montessori education or low plastic toys. Read more

Got this Kizfarm play mat for our little one, mainly for tummy time and just to give him some floor time with stimulation. Assembly was super easy, just clicked a few pieces together for the wooden arch and hung the toys, took maybe five minutes, no tools needed. It definitely works as advertised; the different zones and detachable toys keep him engaged, and it's a good spot for him to practice pushing up during tummy time. My only minor gripe is that the mat itself isn't super padded, so we usually put it on a rug or another soft surface, but it's not a deal-breaker. Overall, it's a solid activity mat and definitely keeps the kiddo entertained. Read more
