Oh, my! These are dreamy soft and comfortable. The pic I took is looking down inside the boot, and you can see the support that keeps the boot straight while you’re sliding into it. it's the C-shaped hole in the middle of the pic. It’s like a built-in shoe horn. I was thinking that having a built in shoe horn would make the boots stiff or uncomfortable, but once the boot is on, I didn’t notice it at all – it has a lot of curve to it, so it doesn’t lie flat against your leg – that’s all I can figure. At any rate, the hands-free feature works great, with no sacrifice of comfort. They fit perfectly – my foot is long (size 11) but average width. These look amazing as well. The color is nice – neutral and light, with enough contrast to hide minor dirt. I’ll be using shoe cleaner to keep the bottom white part clean. I wore them in the bitter cold, and had to walk through Ice and slush. I still had to walk carefully on the ice, but they didn’t slip and my feet stayed toasty and dry. The fur keeps cold air from getting in, but leaves enough room to tuck your jeans inside. I can’t say enough good things about these – they are worth the price, and I’d highly recommend them if you live in (or visit) places with a harsh winter.
