This 48-inch standing desk has been a fantastic addition to my office setup. I already own another standing desk that I love, and I’ve arranged the two in an L-shape to create a full L-shaped standing workstation, which has been really convenient. The desktop measures 48 by 23 inches, though the riser takes up a portion of that space. It’s definitely a space-saving design, but you do lose a bit of usable surface area because of it. The riser itself is extremely sturdy and doesn’t bow at all under my heavy monitor, which is something I really appreciate. The cubby underneath gives me a great spot to store notebooks, my phone charger, and even slide my keyboard and mouse out of the way when I need to write by hand. That frees up more room on the main surface. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the set of fabric drawers it comes with. The desk itself is beautiful, and the fabric drawers make it look a little less polished than it could. They’re useful, though, and because they’re fabric, they don’t scratch the desktop when you pull them out. I’ll probably replace them with something a bit nicer later on. The height adjustment is very smooth. I’ve had zero issues with it, even when I had some heavy items on top while rearranging my office. I didn’t even think about the weight until after the desk lifted without a single struggle. That really impressed me. Overall, this desk is highly functional, sturdy, and great quality. It was also simple to assemble on my own, which is a huge plus. I’d happily recommend it to anyone considering a standing desk. Read more

We actually have three standing desks that elevate and we use them all over, I even have one out in the garage! When I saw this one with a back shelf I wanted to grab it for our gaming room. I have to say that having a shelf on the back is really a cool addition although I was (and still am) a bit skeptical about things staying balanced on the narrow surface. So far its been working ok because of the smooth action of the lift motor however it could be an issue depending on how you plan to use it. The wood grain looks really nice and would probably fit in just about any decor style including if you wanted to put it in a more upscale room. Assembly isn't to bad as long as you follow each step carefully and don't go out of order at all. Keep in mind that this is a good sized desk and with all of the metal and motorized parts, it is a solid and bit heavy desk. You might also want to plan ahead because of its size, the first desk we got (different manufacturer but same size) was going to be used in a spare room but things changed. My son put it together in our basement workshop area and it ended up being to large and long to get out of the basement! We really like this desk and given its a powered lift desk that looks really nice, the price seems fair and right in the ballpark. I purchased this 48 inch electric standing desk for my son's room and it has been amazing for him. We really like how it's electric and you're able to adjust the height so he can sit and stand at this desk while working on his homework. I really love how this computer desk is a compact workstation for my son, he's able to have everything he needs right it is arm's reach. The drawers on the top of this desk are perfect to store all of his pens, pencils, and calculators in. This desk is quality made and is very sturdy once built. The directions for building this desk were so easy to follow along with it took me about 45 minutes to build. My son absolutely loves that he's able to raise and lower this desk with just a simple push of a button. Read more
