These are the best penny sleeves I’ve come across. They hold up indefinitely, even with actual play. I played a Gardevoir deck for 4 years with the same cards, and played them pretty heavily. After deciding it was time to retire to the binder, to my surprise most cards were all near mint condition. There were a few that I’d say were closer to lightly played, but to be fair, some of the cards I’d bought in lightly played condition. All this to say, these penny sleeves are top notch, they fit great, they don’t obscure the artwork of the card, and they do a great job at protecting your investment. For those interested. I used these penny sleeves, and KMC brand (same brand) regular sleeves as well. I’m more of a collector these days, but I still double sleeve all my noteworthy pulls, or useful/competitive cards that are holo/reverse holo. These sleeves are really nice. They aren't cheap, but they fit like a glove, are a little thicker than penny sleeves, and most importantly they stay in place when sliding into binders and outer sleeves. Read more

Beautifully transparent and closely fitted without stressing or bending the card or its edges, these sleeves make our cards look and feel great enabling us to enjoy all the fine details and colors while maintaining that protective layer from dirt, dust, oil and the like. Thin, fitted and suitable for the inner protector of double sleeving we simply love these Japanese made card sleeves. However, please be aware these are THIN sleeves. They do not have the thickness nor durability to prevent damage while playing on their own, IMO. Now, if you want to sleeve your cards and then put them in a more durable game play outer sleeve, then they should do the trick, I think, though I can't say for sure as we purely use them for collection only cards. All our reverse holos, rares, ultra rares and so on immediately go into these sleeves from fresh packs and they just simply look and feel wonderful. These worked exactly as advertised. I've recently gotten back into Magic: The Gathering and bought these when recalling how I wore out my original cards 20 years go. I've read that these work best when paired with an outer sleeve, but have not gone that far. I'm pretty careful with my cards and am mostly concerned with the wear around the edges from constant skin contact and table movement. These alleviate that concern for me. I've sleeved up and tested my three most used decks so far with no hassle. Yes, the card sleeves start pretty slick and will run away from you if you're not careful. Yes, amazingly, adding layers of protective plastic and air adds to the deck height. A standard 60-card deck might grow 40% in size and tilt at a slight angle. Even freshly sleeved, the cards weren't sliding around the table or off the top of the deck. I did try compressing the cards overnight under a stack of books, and the result was a nice reduction that unfortunately expanded out again as soon as they were handled. This did not create any kind of seal that kept air from filling in the gaps again. Perhaps if I stored the decks for prolonged periods under higher pressure? Maybe. A nice benefit of these sleeves is that my shuffling style has smoothly transitioned from a riffle shuffle, which inherently bends the cards each time, to a smooth side shuffle (or "mash" shuffle) with the leading plastic edge creating a clean separation between cards. I would never attempt this with unsleeved cards as their hard edges would rub and grind into each other. With sleeved cards, I can gently push two deck halves together with a little wiggle and they cleanly slide into each other. Read more

I use Dragon Shield sleeves over them and they work amazing. They are a bit thicker than I’d like, but they go great with Magic: The Gathering cards. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing perfect fits on their cards. Read more
