These black boots are attractive, and the chunky heel makes them easy to wear. I’d say they are true to size, if not slightly small. I wear an 8.5, sometimes 9, and I feel like maybe a 9 would have given me a little more room. If you have wide feet, these boots are a no. My feet are in between medium and wide and that’s somewhat pushing it, especially in the toe box area. If your calves have a circumference larger than 16”, these boots won’t fit you. I have muscular calves that are 16” and I feel like that’s the max capacity for these. I like how the ankle area does not bag a lot in these. They have more of a tapered look. My ankles are 8.5 inches, and I find boots tend to bag a lot there for me. These look good. The rounded square toe looks great, and I like the chunky, but not rugged sole. The suede insert is a stylish touch, too. The faux leather and suede look pretty good and not like plastic or fabric. The boots are on sale now and the sale price is a good value. The original price is a little high for synthetic boots, but they are very trendy and stylish and seem to be decent quality. I got these boots in the brown color and size 6.5, and I’m happy to say that they fit true to size (no tripping over my own feet or hurt toes from my feet sleeping around yet). Even though they do fit true to size, there is also enough space in the boot to wear thick socks during the colder seasons while giving good breathing space for your feet during the warmer seasons. These boots don’t really go all the way up to my knees, but they are still tall enough to keep the intended style and be comfortable to wear. The shoes are surprisingly cushy to walk on, and the weight distribution around the raised heel is even, making it surprisingly easy to stay on my feet for hours at a time. Unlike a lot of other knee high boots that I’ve considered trying out, the toe box of these shoes are in a slightly-rounded square shape. This gives the toes plenty of space to exist without being painfully squished like they would have been by a more pointed toe box. The zip closure on these boots runs all the way from the top of the boot to the sole of the shoe along the inside of the leg, which is super convenient in making sure that I have plenty of freedom to take the boots off and put them on as I wish to, without having to wiggle my foot all around. I’m super excited to find different ways to style these boots throughout all of the seasons, and if you are looking for a staple pair of boots to add to your wardrobe then I definitely suggest giving these ones a try. Oh! No! What an unexpected disappointment! I actually have another style of knee high boots from this brand, which I like and plan on wearing. Unfortunately, I can not say this same for this pair. I ordered a size 11 in the other style and it fits fine. Thus, trustingly, I also ordered a size 11 in these boots. It looks awful on me. Also, the material looks so rough not at all soft. Looks, like rubber rain boots. Galoshes. It looks like a boat on my foot. It shows on me to be too long in length in the foot bed. Might as well go sail boating, no boat needed, I can just utilize the boot as my sailing boat. How, could the same company produce such a huge difference in sizing? Isn't a standard unit of measurement utilized in the making of their shoes. I chose the previous pair in black and this pair in brown. So, I figured that's it, I'm set for the cold season ahead, bill look no further. If it was my fault for ordering a wrong size than I wouldn't reduce stars from my rating. But, truly it is not my fault. It's a huge inconsistency in their making. I do have to say that they don't feel comfortable due to the very Stiff, Rigid shoes. I'm referring to the portion from ankle and beyond to the toes. No, utter flexibility whatsoever. It is pretty thick materialed, so perhaps it will not wear out and endure more than rain as in snow, and people that are like me sister who eats through her shoes. Shoulder shrug, idk don't ask me how. I'm in southern California my feet won't see too much rain, puddles and I don't get out much. Idk, I am kind of thinking to say for those of you in other states with down pores, snow, just rough climates, perhaps you may need these. Since, they are so tough in exterior, as long as it's not slippery and the stitching/GLE hold together well. For,abrasive conditions I like having armores to tough it out. Wear it in good health!
