These are beautiful brown boots that fit true to size. The shorter heal makes them comfortable to wear for a longer time. The faux leather is soft and looks pretty realistic but it does crease with continued wear. The zipper is good quality and smooth, but I would suggest putting a grip on the sole to make the boot less slippery. Ok.... so I will do what I usually do for reviews, pros and cons. We will start with the pros. Literally one of the most comfortable boots I own. Despite the toe box looking narrow they have a little give and are very roomy and I have a wide foot. There was no noticeable creasing from wear by the end of the night. The construction was beautiful and they zipped up seamlessly. I have boots where the zippers are very rough, these were like butter! They were a muted black so not shiny but not super dull, caught the light just enough which was nice because I wanted people to see how utterly sexy these boots are! The heel adds a nice character touch. I own other styles in this brand and love them! The calf is wide without being too much which I appreciate. They were true to size! Cons.... just 1, they were VERY slippery on certain floor surfaces, my home for instance has manufactured scratch resistant flooring and I almost went down more than once. BUT outside of my home they did just fine. This issue could easier be fixed with a purchase of traction stickers to add onto the bottom if you'd like. For me I'll just put them on to check the outfit out, remove them and throw them back on before I leave the house. Overall a beautiful boot, I'd give a 5 star but the slip for my knocked a star. I’m always on the hunt for a good basic black knee-high boot, and these did not disappoint. There’s a little bit of room around the calves, but not much, just enough so they don’t feel tight or hard to zip. They’re actually pretty easy to walk in, and the kitten heel gives you a little lift and elongates your legs without being uncomfortable. Since the heel is slightly wider at the bottom, you get more stability than a typical stiletto-style heel, which makes them feel even more wearable. They’re one of those boots you can wear anytime of year and with pretty much any outfit, dresses, jeans, leggings, whatever. Just a really chic pair of black knee high boots that do exactly what you want them to. And honestly, you can’t beat the price.
