I am so in love with these boots. I typically wear anywhere from a 9 to a 10 shoe, lately 9 and 1/2 fits me best in shoes so I ordered the 9 and 1/2 in this boot and I was surprised at the toe room I still had because normally boots run a little small. The company included pads for you to place in the toe box in case it's too much room which I thought was such a great touch. I have a little bit thicker thighs and the stretch on these were perfect because they're adjustable too just about anybody type I believe. I was looking for a pair of rugged sole suede boots to wear with casual dresses. As far as looks - these boots checked all the boxes for me. The faux suede looks and feels nice, and the rugged sole is not overly bulky. Also, I think the black suede and the elastic back insert creates a pretty two textured look. The calf fit is absolutely excellent for my wide calves (that measure 17” around the widest part). The elastic back insert allows for additional stretch, but these boots might not work for extra-wide calves. I ordered my normal size 8.5, the boots fit fine size wise, however the toe box is a bit stiff and my foots seems to slide forward when I walk because the boots feel a bit wide overall. The comfort of these boots is probably 3 and a half stars out of 5, that’s why I wouldn’t wear these boots for long walks. Super cool boots with attitude for days - in the best way. These have a classic fashion-statement vibe about them that I just love. If a riding boot and a motorcycle boot had a baby, it would probably look like these. The lug sole with the rounded toe box and chunky heel gives them that motorcycle vibe. The faux leather looks like real suede and is comfortable to the touch. The stretch panel up the back screams riding boot and helps the boot hug but not squeeze my calf. The full length zipper up the leg makes taking them on and off extremely easy. Because these are made from a faux leather, I expect them wear better and stronger than normal suede and resist the scuff marks normal suede is known for.
