Knife Block with Kitchen Knives Set 14 Pieces and Wood Cutting Chopping Board Stainless Steel Knife for Kitchen

We had an older knife set (I think we got it at Walmart?) and after a few years it was absolute garbage (wouldn't sharpen) which made cooking bulk meals a challenge. Got this set after looking around (I read reviews to help me decide what products I want to spend my money on) and I can tell you this set is lovely. Everything was extremely sharp out of the box and the handles were fine (I was worried they'd slip/I'd cut myself as I have small hands) However the quality of these knives is evident every time I need to cut anything. I have put these in the dishwasher as well as washing by hands. Sometimes they sneak in there when other people do the dishes but I tend to just wash them with soap, dry them off by hand and put them away. I purchased this good quality attractive knife and butcher's block set as a gift for my son-in-love's 40th birthday. The knives are as sharp as they are attractive; consequently, they should be used with caution and never ever handled by young children. If god were reckless when using these knives, god would be cut. Also, the knives, which are dishwasher safe, should be cleaned, dried, and returned to the butcher's block immediately after use. The set comes with a knife sharpener and smartly designed kitchen shears that can be quickly and easily disassembled for thorough cleaning. Meal prep knife applications and cutting steak are almost effortless, requiring skill instead of strength. Best set of knives I have had in like the last 5 I have owned. They are uber-sharp, solid one piece construction so they don't get water trapped in the handles when cleaning. Look great with the dimpled finish. Way, way worth the money at twice the price!!! Read more

Overall, I'm happy with this knife set. Do listen to the other reviews as they are susceptible to water staining and rust build up ig left in water for prolonged times. If you use, wash, dry promptly there should be no problems. There are no rivets on these knives. It's one continuous piece. They're sharp and quality is good. Not comparable to higher end knives but for the money paid, I would say they are exceeding expectations. The block is well made, sturdy and very functional design. Read more
