These knives are attractive, sharp, and durable. They feel nice and balanced in my hand. The package does say that these are NOT dishwasher safe, so I always hand wash them. These are the sharpest knives I’ve ever owned and they care of me like I take care of them. These stunning knives look more expensive than they are. They are very sharp (careful if you haven’t used extremely sharp knives in a while!). I knicked a knuckle slightly in the unboxing process. The wooden block is heavy and well-crafted. The variety of types of knives is pretty standard and meets my needs. I probably won’t use the steak knives very often and would have preferred other types of knives in the set, but I suppose most people expect steak knives in sets like these. I, of course, washed them in hot, soapy water before storing them in the block. Don’t wash them in the dishwasher. All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase. Read more

Update* Original: If you only want knives you can run through the dishwasher, go to WalMart. This brand clearly states a cutting-edge of 10 degrees. If you VALUE the knives and want them to stay sharp and last, your concern won't be about whether or not they rust in the dishwasher because you use crappy dw chemicals; no. These knives, as with all quality knives, are to be HAND washed. That's basic common sense. As for the variety of what is offered, here - it's perfect!! Has all the things you need, and not too much nonsense. The honing steel is the best knife tuner to do the job - all the knife blocks that have the horrid ceramic criss-cross things... no. Good way to wreck your knives. My favourite thing about this knife block, and the ultimate deciding factor for my purchase: the steak knives ARE NOT SERRATED!!! HALLELUYAH!!! Those are so dumb, probably for people who never planned on sharpening their knives anyway, but relying on pure muscle-age to get through anything. Not okay. These are PERFECT!!! I don't know why more companies don't make them this way. If you have an eye for perfection, you might notice the handles aren't quite symmetrical due to however they sand/hone them on. Oh well. These are great, and I also love that they're not the normal grungy dark style that looks atrocious, and so cheap. I got these in white, and they are a perfect kitchen addition, classy and goes well with everything! Perfect aesthetic. Exactly what I want to use!! These are lighter in your hand, but durable. Thanks for making such a great product!! *Removed a star, because the handles are now (ordered in May, it is now October) showing cracks, which are brown because things are obviously dripping into them. I have made it obviously stated in my review that I do not put these knives in the dishwasher. Why are they cracking at the top rivets, completely on their own? Sharp. Nice. Fit my hands well. I took another set from a big box store back and bought these. These are way sharper and I'm really happy it has a boning knife the other set didn't have. Used it to butcher my first chuck roll. I'm hand washing these and seem fine but I've only had them 30 days. I've sharpened the chef knife and boning knife and the seem to sharpen well. - Update 4 months in 2/26 - So had some cracking on the steak knife handles. I have to say This company has THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I contacted them and they sent me out 2 new knives, but before I got them, 2 more cracked. They were still useable, but come on. I contacted customer service again obviously upset and they said it may have been a bad batch and they've had less problems with the black handle knives. They then sent me a whole new set of the black handle knives! This kind of customer service ia unbelievable in 2026! I'm now a forever customer! Read more
