We replaced our old knife set after it started developing rust spots. This 15-piece high-carbon stainless steel set caught our attention because of its matte-coated blades and the fact that it’s dishwasher safe is a big plus for our busy kitchen. Features or Experiences: Quality: Out of the box, the knife block looks good, though it had a slight paint smell, likely from the black portion. The block is lighter and not as sturdy as our old Cuisinart one, but the knives themselves feel excellent. The rubber-coated handles add a premium touch and provide a secure grip. Usability: These knives cut very well right out of the box. The included sharpening rod is a nice bonus in case they ever dull. Performance: So far, they’ve handled everything from vegetables to meats with ease, delivering clean, precise cuts. Durability: We’ve run them through the dishwasher multiple times, and they still look brand new with no visible wear or degradation. These knives are definitely of premium quality when it comes to the look and feel of each knife. The knives are solid and sharp. You get a different variety of knives available. This knife set was a great upgrade to my old mix of mismatched cutlery which was getting very dull and worn. They look as sharp as they cut, with the black and gray/silver finish matching my appliances nicely. I like that they include a sharpening rod, too. I've been using it regularly to maintain a fine edge on the blades (this type of sharpener keeps them from getting dull, but won't restore an overly dull edge). I've never had a matching set w/ storage block before, so I have no frame of reference, but I can't imagine any set being much nicer than this. I've even had dinner guests comment on them. I got this set to replace my old one that was missing knives and getting worn, and this set is a great replacement. The knives are all sharp and seem to be really good quality. The material the handles are made of feels good in hand as well. They survive the dishwasher, making them easy to clean, and the block of course makes them really easy to store. This 14 piece set has a total of 12 knives, a pair of scissors and a knife sharpener that are all made well. There are 6 different steak knives of good quality, a couple bread knives, a knife sharpener, and scissors that came in handy in the kitchen, they have been easy to wash by hand yet I have not use a dishwasher on them yet. The Yosfo 15 piece knife set definitely impressed me when I unpacked it. Every knife was doubly wrapped, first in plastic, then with a cardboard sheath around that. Each blade tip was also shielded with a form-fitting plastic protector to prevent someone hurting themselves with the point. The knives are heavy and appear to be of good quality materials. They cut extremely well, too. The large knife stand neatly arranges all the pieces for you, too. There are a 13 knives, as well as a pair of kitchen shears. Then there was the final piece… What I like about the set is that it came with a manual knife sharpening steel - you know, it looks like a thick, dull sword. But it is a great way to sharpen knives!
