Kohler K-13132-3A-SN Pinstripe 2 Handle Widespread Bathroom Faucet Polshd Nickel

This bathroom formerly had a Jado faucet (Jado was bought by American Standard). When I needed a new cold cartridge and called American Standard, I was told they no longer make parts for Jado. It was 25 years old, but it's sad they stopped making parts. I found a Kohler faucet I liked in a local bath supply showroom and it was a couple hundred dollars more than this one -- for the same exact thing. My plumber recommended Kohler because it's usually much easier to get parts. So we bought this one on Amazon, my plumber installed it easily, and I am very happy with its design and its function. I bought two of the set to replace my 20-year old master bath faucets. They are very heavy and shiny with the polished nickel finishing. The installation was easy compared to uninstalling my old Europe made ones. The only trouble I had was that initially i got very low flow and then i figure out two things that help and solve the issue: 1) do not over tighten the tee in step 9; 2) remove the aerator and check the flow. It was high flow. So i know I need to replace aerators with high GPM ones. We get better backup with Kohler in USA: the spout part in one of the set was not the same with the other, so I contacted Kohler and got replacement really fast. Read more
