I want to start by saying that when my dog was younger and smaller this worked well. This is about how my aggressive chewer dismantled this ball in a short time, making it a safety hazard. My long haired German Shepherd loved this ball. When I gave it to him as a puppy it wasn't his go to all the time. Because of that I thought that it was lasting longer than it really was able too. He rediscovered it around the age of 2, at 75 lbs and a prolific chewer, as a very loved chew toy. A few months later he fractured a section out of it. Thinking that it had lasted him from a puppy to the age of 2.5 years, I promptly bought him a new one. By this time he knew its weak point and went straight for it, it lasted just a couple of days. This is by no means a black mark on the product, its groves and knobby parts do exactly as they should. I really wanted it to continue to work for him. But I would caution against getting this for a dog that obsessively chews on toys. Read more

Just squichy enough for a strong chewer. My Corgie loves this bone. Corgie’s are notoriously strong chewers with jaws like iron but this one lasts a long time and is perfect for the dog who loves to chew non stop. I’m so glad we found this by Kong we are going to have to buy stock in their company! Read more

Definitely not a toy for an aggressive chewer. Our lab this destroyed in about 5 minutes. Read more

So I have a Boxer/Black Mouth Cur mix and when she gets into a chew mood she is a nut!! This bone provides great entertainment for her when she's in that mood, it lasts for a few months and then I just get another. It breaks apart when she really goes to town on it but the pieces are large enough for us to find on the floor and pick up, I'd say be cautious if your dog tends to eat the things they break - mine doesn't, she tears it up and drops it but this could make the pup choke or hurt their insides if they consume the pieces. I personally think if you have a chewer that doesn't actually consume the toy this is a GREAT option! I keep an extra put away for when the current one gets destroyed Read more

This is a great toy for nonaggressive chewers. I have a mini golden doodle. He is 10 months old and LOVED this ball. It quickly became his favorite toy but after 2 weeks he had torn the ball up and began pulling it apart. He was so sad when I threw it away. I hope Kong makes one of these for aggressive chewers with a more durable material because this was by far my dog’s favorite toy. Read more

I Bought this Kong Squeeze Dental Bone for my Dog Zorro he is a English Springer Spaniel Medium sized dog he weighs 50 pounds . I bought to help keep his teeth clean. He loves it so much and its his daily routine just spread little peanut butter on top and it also helps with his anxiety. He is a very anxious dog this gets him to calm down and relax. It's made to be flexible it has grooves cut through it made out of a soft textured plastic material with raised nodules throughout the creases of bone , does not have odor, it really helps get the plaque off Zorro's teeth. It will last awhile it is a quality product. Look at pictures it say it all. My dog loves it! Its Zorro approved !! He recommends it for all the dogs , its alot of fun!! Read more

I can't see how this is appropriate for large dogs. Yes, mine is a heavy chewer, but she had a piece ripped off within 5 minutes. The design practically encourages this. Read more
