Solid tripod, well built, with numerous features that I needed. It quickly sets up. The legs are solid and stable with multiple adjustments. The ball head provides stability and versatility. In addition, the tripod has levels that allow you to align the platform. It folds into a compact unit, making the unit very portable. The tripod includes a durable bag in which to pack the tripod. Finally the price point is superb. Read more

In need of a smaller, lighter, simpler tripod for work abroad, I purchased this for a recent excursion for use in both stills and video. The tripod and head (without the included bag) weigh in at 980 grams. The largest configuration used (shown) was a payload of just under 4 kg which was handled very well by the tripod. Other configurations included automated panning adapters and various specialty filters which were lighter and better tolerated. The primary flaw was that the Swiss Arca clamp atop the tripod does not close far enough to firmly hold a standard Swiss Arca plate (the plate can slide about in the fully tightened clamp). Unable to easily modify the clamp, I modified my Swiss Arca plates by adding a layer or two of Scotch tape to the edge of each needed plate and trimming off the excess with a blade. A lesser flaw is that when the rotational lock is loosened, the head piece rocks a bit which frustrates smooth panning. Nonetheless, the product as a whole is solid, viable and readily portable. I use this almost every day for videos. It holds my small camera or S25 phone equally as well. I had to buy attachments to fit both, but I knew I would have to before I bought this unit. The quality is top notch. The adjustments are almost endless and very secure. I highly recommend it. Read more

Product is very stable and sturdy, but it’s rather heavy for its size. The tallest I configuration stands at 23.5 inches or 59.7 centimeters, which means it’s very short. Read more

So far everything about the tripod is exactly what I was looking for! Budget friendly, small & compact, ease of use (specifically opening the tripod legs) sturdy and multi-purpose. Big plus is that it came with a ball-head as well. Been playing around with this mini aluminum tripod after it was delivered but will put it to the test at some point. So 5 stars for now! Read more

Solid but flawed. The build quality is very nice, but the crazy thing is in it's tallest configuration the small angle of the legs makes it very narrow and unstable. The next angle position drops the height a good deal and is way too wide. They really missed the mark with the leg angle lock settings, otherwise this could be a great tripod. I give it only 3 stars. It's just not very useful with this major flaw. Read more
